Flamingo Cancun - All Inclusive

Stay away!!! I’m a believer that you get what you pay for but this was a bit much. There is a reason it’s one of the worst rated resorts in Cancun Day 1 we found our room had no ac. Maintenance man came quickly and banged the unit around a little, told us it will be blowing cold in 15, it did not. We went to the front desk and were offered another room but warned that ac isn’t working in the room either but there was a ceiling fan. We didn’t want to deal with packing up and moving across the resort to another no ac room, plus it didn’t have an ocean view we paid for. Day 2 we left the resort early, when we returned our code wasn’t working for the safe, we were getting an error message. Security came and got it open, said they reset sometimes. We didn’t feel like any $ was missing but we weren’t sure. Well our last full day after spending the day at the pool we came to our hot room and again we’re getting the same error message. They sent someone and they got it open. We broke down how much $ we brought and what we spent. We were missing over $200 in cash. They offered to call the police but we didn’t feel like spending our last evening dealing with it knowing nothing was going to be done. We found out that the error message we were getting was because someone used the master code so our code was reset. I’m sure most the staff our in on this scam. They can easily see who was in our room! Resort caters to locals. If you’re not local you are a target. Stay away!!

I like that the property was a smaller resort compared to newer resorts. The people were friendly but did not make sure we had what we needed or even asked for. For instance, when we checked in, we asked if there was a map or information about the property. They said no. They did not tell us some of the information could be found on some of the screens they had. I found those incidentally. I did not find the info in the room at all. I did not know where the Albatross restaurant was or it's policies (need reservations for the evening). I found the La Fuente buffet was mostly convenient. Some of the food was bland but they did offer some sauces one could add. The porters were spot on with their work. They even broke some of our larger pesos into smaller change for us. Our room maid was thorough and friendly. Maintenance wise, that was obviously going on at the property such as painting, cleaning of facilities, etc. But the Damas bathroom in the lobby only had 1 of 3 toilets with toilet seats. That did not change during our 9 nights there. Our room bathroom door did not close properly as there was some stucco or something getting in the way. It didn't bother me but it seems they would correct that in one of their higher priced rooms. I booked through Expedia because the room listed there was not listed on the resort web site. I prefer to book directly with hotels. I believe this resort allows locals to check in and enjoy the facilities during the day.

Check in was a brezze all they staff was super nice it has a gorgeous beach and you cant beat the price planning my next trip already

I love the Flamingo resort I had an Amazing time. The only thing I didn't like was the reservation for dinner. I would go out and forget to do the reservation. Everything else was amazing.

The staff was excellent

Everyone was friendly from the front desk greeting, and the cleaning people. Traveled solo and my stay was great.

Staff was very friendly and everyone was very helpful. Food was good but not many options. Room was decent and clean. AC was also good, my family and I was able to get some good rest. For the price you pay, I say it was excellent.

Beds uncomfortable, no entertainment, jacuzzi and other areas were shut down and under maintenance. Food was ok, staff were amazing.

The staff were not the friendliest, the restaurants closed early. You were not allowed to eat by the pool like other all-inclusives, also not everything was inclusive the food was not great

No shows at night (meaning no good entertainment) Poor variety on food. Only 1 buffett place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so we had to stay in line.

I like the location, food was ok, but prepare to not get wifi, it is slow.

Great hotel, booked the Terrance entrance room straight into the pool and beach walk way. Only thing was that the WiFi was down for the 5 nights I was there but other than that everything was great.

Payed extra for a lagoon view room, we were on the road and listen to traffic all night. Very limited access to dining. No activities. Was not the place we were sold. Was under construction and never told so things were not in use(such as hot tub). Spent lots of money for sub par experience

It was amazing! The staff are very friendly and the room was always clean. Sometimes they forget to fill the mini fridge in the room and also we don’t like the sound of construction noise on the territory. Because of construction some areas was close. But overall it was really cool vacation and for sure I will recommend it to everyone.

The only problem I had was that they had me waiting for over and hour after check in time to be able to get my room.

The place is nice but small, not enough restaurant, only 1 very small buffet, good but small, the restaurent a la carte is small too, you need to book a reservation 1 or even 2 days before.. my room was very nice with the best view of the beach and the ocean, perfect for beautiful sunrise ❤️😎✌️

Nothing they charge for sheets bring dirty 54$ and the have too many rules they treat you like a child I got yell at fir my small peaked by bar and in the beach they walk around like hawks trying to mess with tourist they need to shut down and food was terrible one buffet the size of a med bedroom

Staff & service is great. Dining/Bars are limited. To many rules and no music only in the lobby and it’s the same 2 songs over and over and over again.
