Hotel Plaza Colonial

Right in downtown

Very nice hotel , room was clean , property in good condition , good place to park you car and walk for all downtown. My only concern was the room no has fridge. Staff very good

Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping as well as historic sites

I was moved to three different rooms because of no television,the hallways are very hot with no ac,do not go here,I was also lied to.

I stayed one night at this hotel in late April as I was meeting my daughter in Calgary. I requested a room upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi tub. I also asked that I have a room higher up in the building to avoid the street noise. The room (818) was small and somewhat awkward as the tub is immediately as you walk in and the rest of the furniture is crammed on the other side of the room. The bathroom is also small and very dated. The bed was very comfortable and I was provided with bathrobes and slippers. However window is very small and the “view” is of a concrete wall and faces an office building such that I could not open the drapes without being fully visible. As well the soundproofing is nearly nonexistent as all night long I was woken up by the sound of doors opening and shutting even though I was wearing earplugs. My daughter’s room had a nice view of the city and a nicer bathroom. Having a jacuzzi tub seems to be the only “upgrade” I was provided and given the view and the noise I don’t feel it was worth the additional cost.

Spacious rooms, nice pool area, great location 2 blocks from the main square.

Hotel Plaza Colonial is a gem. Very centrally located; one can walk to any place of interest in the Centro Colonial. The lovely pool area was an escape from the mid-day heat. There is no restaurant, but it's sister hotel, a block away, has a large dining room.

I would have liked a coffee machine in the room

Excelente ubicación y parqueo amplio. La habitación era un poco pequeña pero muy cómoda con todo lo que necesitábamos. Muy limpio todo.

This hotel is awesome. The property is well maintained and the restrooms are cleaned.Also it is very close to downtown. Staff was friendly.

For being first time there it was nice.

Beautiful renovated colonial hotel with great view of cathedral. Quiet Spacious king room.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is spotless. The staff members are super friendly. The location is great to walk in the historic district. The parking garage is located in the rear. The pool is very clean as well as the public areas. My room had a balcony facing the street. I highly recommend it.
