Residencia Los Encantos

This place I booked for Ten days in Cancun. When I got to the property, the owner told me that the place is fully booked, and I should ring Expedia for my money back. I finally get hold of Expedia. They contact the owner and this guy told them that I didn’t show and wouldn’t refund my money. So I’m back in the US and Expedia has try again and he still refuses to refund my money. So don’t book this place or do not pay upfront. 😡👎

This family has graciously opened their home to make my stay extremely comfortable especially since it was my first visit to Cancun, and I was traveling solo. I cannot thank them enough.

Hi there, :) I'm going to share my disappointing experience at this residence. I forgot to turn off the lights of my room one day and the next day the lady who is the wife of the owner came to my room with a very unpleasant tone of voice and very bad attitude complaining about why I left lights on. I explained to her that I forgot. :( That was my last day of my stay and she kicked me out of her home asking a few times when I was going to leave; I responded that I was ready to leave at the check out time which was 11am. The husband is very nice and kind person but he wasn't there on my last day so he could not do anything about her wife's behavior. Thanks!

It was relaxing and quiet. While in Cancun, I spent almost all of my time visiting the surrounding attractions: Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Playa Delfines, Isla Mujeres, Mercado 28, and some others, so I only slept at Residencia los Encantos. Nevertheless, they have a nice pool.

Really nice place. Friendly owner. We liked it a lot.
