Stayed in Villa 14 & it was amazing. The service daily, the chef and the property were all immaculate. It’s great even for American standards.
My only precaution would be if you’re afraid of bugs and the occasional lizard have someone else with you. As a kid I always dealt with this in a rural town so it didn’t bother me but surely a city slicker may find it problematic.
All of the staff were top notch.

Stayed in Villa 14 & it was amazing. The service daily, the chef and the property were all immaculate. It’s great even for American standards.
My only precaution would be if you’re afraid of bugs and the occasional lizard have someone else with you. As a kid I always dealt with this in a rural town so it didn’t bother me but surely a city slicker may find it problematic.

Beautiful villa about 15 min drive from town. Service was impeccable. We were there at end October/beginning of November so the weather was cold at night. While we weren't cold in the villa it was not particularly cosy at night either, a few more soft furnishings and perhaps making the fireplace functional would make a big difference. There is nothing within walking distance so we needed to make a lot of use of the car and driver organised for us (at additional charge).
Other than that it was excellent. We would happily return
