After staying at a riad in Marrakesh, we spent a night in Casablanca at this hotel... what a difference! it was like stepping out of the past into modern luxury, an unbelievably spacious, well appointed suite with a full kitchenette. Super friendly and helpful staff. only quibble was that while there's a nespresso in the room (yay!), you get exactly one capsule, even though we were two, and another capsule costs 2.5 euros (boo!)!

We were looking for a good hotel with spacious rooms and close to the city centre. This is exactly what Down Town hotel provided. We were two single adults and one slept in a very comfortable double bed and one on the sofa bed - both of which were very comfortable. There was a telly in the bedroom and kitchen living area which was sometimes useful. Would go again. Breakfast was extra at 10 Dirhams per person and was a mixture of hot and cold local dishes/produce to set us up for a day of exploring Casablanca. It would have been good if there had been some tourist information available at reception but we weren't short of places to explore.

We arrived late (11:45 PM) but called ahead to let the staff know about our delayed arrival. We were greeted with kindness, and the hotel and room were very nice.
We had a full kitchen, a living room with balcony and a large bedroom/bed. The area is walkable and felt very safe. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

Staff are very cooperative Mr Omar, Amine, Joseph the technician, Ms Amal, Hajar. Thanks to them all. Ofcourse hotel requires refurbishing. I will definitely consider it in the next visit to casablanca

Friendly staff but hotel not clean, felt dirty, unhygienic with stained furniture and bathrooms. Stinking odor and dusty. NOT recommended for families with kids.
Maintenance, cleaning and hygiene must be improved.

I booked two rooms (1 night) both with 1 King-Bed 1 Double-Sofa-Bed, the total room fee is CAD 265. I booked the two rooms both under my name, so two rooms are under two persons. The hotel staff request me to pay additional fee for the other 3 persons (altoghter 5 persons) and will upgrade the rooms for free, which I think is reasonable. However the additional cost is even nearly CAD 70 and no upgrading at all. The amount of CAD 70 is absolutely unreasonable.

Hotel was in good area with some shopping and food options. Staff and room at hotel were excellent. Room was super comfortable and we had a little outside space that was nice too. Shower was excellent too with good water pressure. Would definitely stay again.
