Railroad Hotel Kalaw

2010년에 지은걸로 보고갔는데 정말 오래된 건물이더라구요 일제시대 관사같은 느낌? 뭐 그보다는 낫지만 분위기가 그랬어요. 친절하고 조식도 괜찮고 전망도 좋았지만 밤에 잘 때 정말정말 추웠어요. 난방시설이 아예 없는데다 벽면 2개가 창이라 더한 것 같았어요. 나중에 물어보니 얘기했으면 담요랑 히터랑 갖다줬을거다던데 새벽 1시에 얘기하기 어려워 잠바를 껴입고 자다깨다 했습니다. 아침에 보니 손님이 나 혼자인 것 같더라구요. 그리고 들어가는 출입구가 도로변에 있지않아 밤에 들어갈때는 찾기도 어렵고 으시시할 듯 해요. 타운에서 그리 멀지 않고 내리막이라 갈만은 한데 요즘 날씨에는 비추천합니다. 그리고 수압이 낮은지 물이 좀 적게 나와서 씻기가 힘들었어요

We arrived at 6 am from a night bus. We did an early check in which was 10,000 mk extra. The room they gave us was so dirty. Terrible conditions, there were spider webs everywhere, a big pile of dust right behind the bed, the sheets had yellow stains all over! We tried to sleep a little but it was impossible, you can listen to absolutely everything people next door do, everything! The walls are super thin,you can listen to them as if they were inside your room! At night we asked them to move us to a different room if possible because now there was a baby next room and a guy with a very loud voice, it was impossible to sleep. The room they gave us was waaaaaay better, much cleaner. You could still listen to absolutely everything going on outside but we had a couple as next door neighbors. That room was clean and had clean sheets. No visible spider webs. The first room was a real nightmare :( On the bright side, staff is attentive and breakfast is delicious. Fried noodles and rice as choice with eggs, toast and delicious milk tea and coffee. Hotel is right next to railway station and a 13 min walk to the market and trekking shops.
