A very old and worn-out building. Musty smell. Wobbly floorboards. No air-con. I was hassled twice to move my motorcycle to an inadequate parking place, even though I had booked an apartment with parking. The receptionist behaved a bit oddly, putting pressure on me to but her a drink, which was uncomfortable. I booked two days, but left after one.
In quite a good location to walk along the sea front. Swakopmund is a nice town.

We had an awesome stay. Best location ever, clean, beautiful little “house”. We had our own braai. Everything that we needed was there. Opposite the Jetty and close by all the shops. We stayed 5 nights. We will come back and stay longer. The staff are so friendly!

This property was just across the street from the beach and had an upstairs veranda overlooking that view. Walking distance to the Tug, an excellent restaurant which was closed due to Covid lockdown. The owners were marvelous as we arrived in Swakopmund in the lockdown just as curfew was being imposed. They brought us three frozen pizzas as all shops and restaurants were closed which was well beyond their responsibility.
They are lovely people!
