Best Western Hotel Den Haag

Kind staff

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, but in terms of soundproofing, it deserves only one star. I could clearly hear another guest snoring through the walls while trying to sleep. Constant door slamming by guests or staff was too much noise. I am not sure if this was due to the room that I had where there was another door right next to mine, or it is the same for all rooms.

A great hotel, clean with large rooms. staff were great and even let us eat our takeaway in the dining room. breakfast is expensive for what you get, an equivalent in the UK would be included in the price of the room. Good transport link to the centre. Very quiet abd safe feeling area. The hotel was very quiet at night

Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Moved my room to back of hotel for a quieter night after a 30 hour travel day. Greatly appreciated

Very hot room. For 2 days a lot of noisy people above ! Was charged 995 USD at check-in but end receipt on checkout was only 865 Euro. No credit for difference in balance given!

Nice hotel, conveniently located. Area was clean and safe. My first room the door didn’t lock, but they moved us to another room and it was fine.

The staff ranged in their level of friendliness. Some were helpful and willing to help while others definitely made you feel like you were an inconvenience in asking questions. The area is a beautiful and was very easy to teach public transportation!

The staff members who we dealt with after check-in were great but the morning staff member needs an attitude adjustment. As a business that one experience was enough to pull every other score down.

Room was clean and tidy on arrival. Comfortable and warm bed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Super location. Highly recommend.

Nice place. Staff were wonderful. Coffee in the room would be nice and the room was a bit dark even with lights on. The bed and pillows were fantastic and sleep was good. House keeping was great.

Quirky style hotel with odd layout but rooms were comfortable, if a little compact.

Value for money. Would stay again.

My regular spot in Den Haag Always great in all ways

The hotel is a good deal for a good price. It's a bit out of the center of town which makes it quiet, and public transport is a block away.

I was there with my girlfriend during our anniversary. We've contacted the property beforehand to see if they prepare anything special for those occasions. I was led to believe in the message that they will. Well they didn't. Two very young blonde receptionist didnt seem to be too confident in their job. I asked one of them for some ice, I've gotten the smallest bowl of ice ever, but I felt she couldn't really handle this task so I didn't dare to ask for more. The kettle in our room didnt work so I had to call down for it to be exchanged. Also there was trash from previous guests behind the heater and there was nobody at the reception when we were checking out. All in all it deserves 5/10. Would choose a different accommodation next time around.

The hotel is located in one of the best areas, surrounded by parks and canal, neighbouring various embassies. Walking distance to two famous museums and Fred(a famous local street with lots of well reviewed restaurants). #24 bus is right next to the hotel (which could take you to the city Center). #11 bus not far takes you right to the beach! The only problem is that the room is quite small, and there is no air conditioner either. You can open the window and turn on a small fan to cool the room down. It worked for us but not sure if this is suffice for summer time? Overall very good stay. We left The Hague with wonderful memories.
