Kroondomein Giethoorn

Beautiful stay and very roomy. We got there a couple hours early and asked to check in. Because the room was ready, they let us check in. It’s hidden off the main walkway so it didn’t feel like we were on display. We used the free bikes that they offer and they did not disappoint. It was better than renting and having a time limit on the bikes. I would definitely stay again.

The chalet had a persistent fetid odor and the bathroom smelled of drains. Lighting was very dim throughout. Beds were comfortable but consisted of two small twins pushed together; the second twin room was tiny. The living area had a small sofa, two armchairs, and a dining set, but soundproofing from other chalets was poor. The kitchen had a dishwasher instead of the advertised washing machine. The coffee maker produced only "colored water," and basics like salt and pepper were missing. The bathroom was problematic: the shower head had limescale, water pressure was uneven, and the tray flooded until I was ankle-deep. There was no soap shelf, no shaver socket, and no hand towels (only two bath towels provided). Power outlets were very limited; there was one free socket by the bed but nowhere in the bathroom to plug in a hairdryer. Parking is located 400m away & cost 8.50€ per day. On the plus side, the WiFi was excellent, there were a few English TV channels, and the outdoor seating was nice. Restaurants nearby. Bikes available for free was helpful but path often too crowded to use

It was confusing finding the hotel. You do have to park and walk a bit to the hotel. Once i figured it out and got settled it was absolutely lovely. Quiet. Slept well. Restaurants neighborhood all walking distance.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war kein Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Die Heizung stellte sich Nachts automatisch aus. Keine Info über die Einstellung der Heizung, des Fernsehers. Eingangstür Klemmt beim Versuch sie von außen abzuschließen.

Super cute area, tourist oriented. Parking was a bit if a walk.

Good, but The bed I ordered was a double and when I arrived it was 2 single beds which was uncomfortable. Thank you for receptionist

Clean, safe and quiet. Bus stop & grocery store nearby. Location is right in the heart of Giethoorn Village.

The chalet was comfy and overall well equipped. The coffee machine was not working properly but we had our own one. Too hot during but I guess it was due to the exceptional high temperatures during our stay, and anyway there was a fan we could use to refresh the air. Personnel at the reception was super nice and helpful. We also rented a boat in the same place for a convenient price. all in all a very good and relaxing stay.

Vriendelijk, behulpzaam en oplossingsgericht personeel. Mooi park met fijn gelegen chalets.

Klima muss separat gebucht und bezahlt werden. Pro Tag 15 €, was wir nicht in Anspruch genommen haben.

Chalet generell OK. Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer allerdings sehr klein.

Schöne Anlage & Lage. Hütten und Einrichtung leider schon etwas abgenutzt in nicht mehr in bestem Zustand. Nur eine Tür hatte ein (kaputtes) Moskitonetz.
