My 3rd time staying at this hostel. Wonderful location and amazing staff. Also visited the other locations/bars they have and was pleasantly surprised. I travel alone and opted for an all female dorm this time and it was perfect. Thanks for another great stay!

I stayed in a female-only 6-bed room with a private bathroom. The room itself was nice. The sheets were clean and organized, but they don't have curtains. The beds have a locker underneath it that you can use, but make sure to bring you own lock. The private bathroom was small but fine. They also have shared bathrooms in the hallways, which are definitely small but manageable.
The check-in process was easy. There's a 1euro deposit for the keycard. They have a communal kitchen with small fridges and a bar area. I will say there's only one lounge area, but it's where the bar is so rather loud and dark.
Overall, a good stay. I would stay here again.

Very convenient location. Can walk to many major tourist sites. Transportation available too such as the train and tram. There is a park just a 2 minute walk awa. A grocery store is close by too.

This was a wonderful location next to Vondel Park. There were loads of restaurants and great shopping opportunities. Everything was very walkable. The staff at the Flying Pig Uptown were incredibly nice and helpful.

Got a good deal on the Pig. It was in a decent location and I was able to get around the city with ease.
It was a little grubby, tho. Simply painting the walls would be a big improvement for the place.
No elevator and lots of steps. Gotta go downstairs to then go upstairs to get outside.
Again, if you can get it for a cheap price and don't have too high of standards, then you'll be fine.

I stayed in the female dorm which had its own bathroom, so was very safe and secure. The bunk bed was comfortable and had a lockable drawer for keeping valuables, (was a little squeaky for leaving early in the mornings though).
There are a few stairs to get in and up to rooms, so good if you are carrying light luggage or if you dont mind there are no lifts.
