The staff was unbelievable in catering to our every need. My wife and I highly recommend staying at the Tivoli. It is located in the hart of the city and accessible to all major attractions.

Excellent hotel with very helpful and welcoming staff. Great location and it was worth having a room with a canal view. Quiet at night, yet only a short walk to places to eat and drink etc. A great base for a city break.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room had the canal view and it was relatively spacious with a private bathroom/shower with a door which is apparently not very common to find. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. In addition the location was great in terms of walking to metro , restaurants and any sightseeings. The hotel offers a cocktail in the afternoon which was a very nice touch. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, however tired the hotel restaurant for dinner one night. Amsterdam has many amazing restaurants and Omber did not rank high for us.

The hallway to the room smelled like old sewage. I understand that this is an old hotel but it really needs new carpeting, some freshness and get the horrible smell out of what is causing it. I had to hold my nose walking down the hallway. I brought it up with everybody, but nobody seemed to care. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. The restaurant at this hotel is outstanding and I highly recommend trying it out. I didn’t feel that the pricing for the hotel matched the overall experience. Great location. Thanks.

Very nice hotel. I was told it’s the oldest hotel in Amsterdam. I stayed in a suite looking out to the canal, and the room was beautiful. They’ve done a nice job to create quite spacious room and a bathroom. I love that they don’t have any cheesy artwork and on the wall. The staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

This hotel is beautiful and within easy walking distance to many of Amsterdam's cultural attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend a room on the canal side as my room was located on the street side and the party-goers could be quite loud at 1 and 2 in the morning.

Everything was excellent except for the air conditioning. We had very high ceilings in our room which is wonderful but without a ceiling fan the cool air if there was any was lost in the high ceilings. We could open the windows and it was cool outside except we were also in a busy area so leaving the windows open at night was too much noise. Lovely Hotel but remember to bring your little bedside fan if you want to be comfortable at night.
