Booked for one night - an ancient aircon unit in corner of room was too loud to operate and sleep. Beds uncomfortable and could feel springs, as well as bed bugs. I've never left bad reviews but probably Plenty of other places for same $

At check-in they ignored the extra benefits from my booking with hotels.com but offered 1.5 of them (free drink and later check-out although very slight) when taken up by the manager. The room was very noisy and a little dirty. I was offered a room change and would now make this my regular Auckland hotel if I could be guaranteed that room location on any of the top 4 floors. Staff after that were amazing. Greatly appreciated.
