Quite expensive for somewhere with no facilities. In room is extremely basic, no fridge or wardrobe. Nice rooftop area but no bar or anything. Noisy on main road especially with road redesign going on

This hotel is great! We had a wonderful experience with the staff and cleanliness of the property. My only warning is no parking at hotel. There are public car parks nearby that allow free overnight parking. Keep this in mind while booking. I would stay here again after understanding the parking situation.

Beautiful views from rooftop area.

Room was quite small, but walking distance to downtown city center, with restaurants, shoppingRooftop terrace overlooking downtown and lake was great! Free hot beverage dispenser on every floor, along with water dispenser. Sensor lighting in room. Very new, modern decor.

Clean, quality, and easy to interact with staff.

Clean and efficient, comfortable bed. Room s bit small but made it work. Friendly and helpful ftont desk. Liked the idea of 24/7 help heing available.

Small but modern room with clean bathroom facilities and great bed at a reasonable price. No fridge, closet, bath or opening windows, but within easy walking of downtown Queenstown. Love the roof terrace in the evening.

Convenient to everything in town and brand-new facilities. I stayed before and after my trek and would do so again. I actually preferred the basement room to the “deluxe” room, though- mi-pad is on a busy street and the basement rooms are super quiet.

mi-pad is an experiment in modern hoteling with some great concepts, some of which work well, others not so. The LED mood strip is fun and a good source of quiet lighting. The shower and bathroom were separated from the living area by single glass doors, limiting privacy. The IOT controls for lighting and heating are fun but the operator pad near the bed was sensitive enough to light up when one rolled over in the night - disrupting sleep. The bathroom light similarly would come on full blast on a nocturnal trip. Perhaps if some of the room designers had spent time in the space they would have come up with software solutions for these annoyances. The coffee / tea machines in the corridor is a good space saving idea and the quality of the coffee was great. The social space and work spaces were well laid out. The Wi-Fi was not secure which meant WhatsApp calls did not go through and our emails failed to send. The management quickly provided a secure network for us - kudos - but why not secure from the start? The general facilities were great although parking was 200m down the street at a pay and display.

This is a recently updated facility, techie. Rooms are very small and have no access to refrigerator or microwave on site. No parking and I got a $100 ticket after parking where desk had told me to. Free hot drinks is nice.

Best choice in town

Great stay- staff were really helpful- sorted out a missing light and updated us about a faulty towel heater. We would highly recommend this hotel- great view from room 503

We booked 3 nights expecting to park our hire care there for an overnight tour of Milford Sound. We arrived to find there was no parking due to construction and the only alternative offered was a public pay lot which would require us to be present to pay. This was not feasible much less acceptable. I should be refunded my fees because had I been informed I would have cancelled before the deadline.
