Brookhall Cottages

Pear Tree Cottage. Business traveller...plenty of parking, plenty of space to work, comfortable double bed, wifi is good, shower is good, hot water plentiful but no shower gel's or shampoo provided. The towels that are provided are older than me and are in a size more akin to hand towel than bath towel. So pack your toiletries and towel before you arrive. The property is in a lovely rural location and can feel isolated, so as there is no access to food on / near site either come prepared or get ready for a drive. As a self catering holiday let, I'd dare say again; plenty of parking, plenty of space, good shower, comfy bed, good wifi........BUT.....I would add no welcome basket upon arrival. There are no shops nearby (that I saw) so take with you whatever you think you'll need and this includes tea, coffee, milk and sugar! Entering the lounge / kitchen I found a packet of biscuits (thank you very much) and a box of six coffee sachet things that you pour into a mug and add hot water....there was no milk - fresh or UHT, no sugar - I assume the gifts had been left by the owner as a welcome but equally could have been left by the last guest much like the random assortment of half used sauces in one cupboard. Being very fussy, there are plates, cups and mugs etc but nothing matches and it all feels old and unloved. Great location for a romantic break or to disconnect. It's a good facility, not bad, not exceptional, just.....good. Good value but wouldn't stay again.

Our stay here was amazing!! The property was beautiful and the cottage had everything we needed. Great location made it easy to get to all points of interest. Host was so kind and easy to contact. Absolutely loved our stay here!!

The cottage was well decorated with some nice quirky features. Clean and well equipped. Comfy beds. Good heating. Dog friendly. Beautiful location. Lovely host. A real home from home!

Beautiful location, the owner was quick to respond to any emails sent if there was any issues. The local town had plenty of shopping and restaurants to visit.

Really enjoyed the Little Cottage , located in a nice quiet area . They also have a Chapel on the property ( if you fancy a quiet Wedding ) . Also had a couple of sheep and a Mule , kid's would love it . It's a well situation location for Visiting other popular area's .

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. It was clean and spacious. Nice and quiet. The kids loved the pony in the field next to the cottage.

Lovely cottage with fields, birds and a donkey. The location is far enough out of town to give you country experience but close enough for convenience to shopping and major routes. The cottage was clean with all the amenities.

The property was so lovely! And the grounds were beautiful, all the staff are really friendly and there is a lovely dog called Tilly and a very friendly donkey

The building and location were quaint, gardens very pretty. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower definitely would benefit from a deep clean. The shower also leaked and didn’t drain very well. There were cobwebs in every room. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. With a little TLC it could be perfect.The owner was friendly and very helpful.

Lovely little cottage on a farm with its own chapel for weddings. Very quirky and the owner is an animal lover. Only complaint was a shortage of teaspoons, so not much to complain about. A quiet bolt hole but close enough to .explore Belfast.

Small, Dirty, Ill-equipped, we were charged an extra 35 pounds for the dogs so they could do a deep clean on the carpets! What carpets? There were beetles and spiders in the lounge, the coffee in the coffee jar left was solidified. My advice? stay elsewhere.

Cottage was very comfortable, charming and spotless. We had a fabulous stay and will defo be back.

The cottage was quaint and idyllic for our needs of an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The peaceful surroundings made our stay so relaxed.

Well fitted out, nice cottage in the country. Convenient to Belfast & surrounds, away from the busy city. Directions to the cottage was confusing - on the main road, not on the side road as shown. Convenient inclusions, helpful friendly proprietor. Overall a good experience for 4 or more guests.
