Best hotel I’ve stayed at in any city in Philippines.

I have stayed at many hotels and resorts around the world and this is one of my all time favorites! I am already planning another visit in a few months. The beautiful views, the outstanding quality of the resort, the many swimming pools, and the excellent service made this a wonderful vacation experience’

Traveling with a family of 5 is never easy - in pretty much any place we’ve visited. Some places, however, make it easy. They are accommodating, understand the needs of families with small children and are willing to work with you. Other places are not so great, and nickel and dime for as much as they possibly can. Henann Alona is one of those places. I booked a room well in advance for 1, so I could be close to diving. Then, my family wanted to join. I asked the front desk how I can have my family stay. I was told any room available was good for two people and I’d pay extra for each person above that number. And, the most per room is 4. So essentially I’d need to pay for one full room to accommodate the one person they would not allow in my room. Which, btw, was a junior suite, one of the largest rooms they have with multiple beds, couches, chairs - you get the point - plenty of room. And I explained I’d be willing to pay whatever to have my whole family stay. So, to accommodate my 7 year old son I had to book another room at full price - which include multiple beds, toiletries etc. If you’re looking for a family friendly, accommodating place, this may not be it. There are many other more friendly- and honestly - less greedy places than Henann.

We love everything about this hotel. Staffs are so nice. Breakfast was good. Surely will come back.

Nice place....

Although Alona Beach is very busy, this was the escape from the crowded streets and beach that we needed. We loved the food options, and the swim up bars were great too (although busy at times, so we escaped back to our room with direct pool access when we needed to).

This property was on the lovely beach and had many beautiful pools to choose from. It was within walking distance of food options and local shopping.

Overall the resort was good. Buffet was fairly good sometimes food cold. Service at times could be very slow but overall friendly. The 2 bottles of water1 per person was not enough. Concierge service very limited. No where near the standard of quality hotels. Could rarely be helpful with arranging assistance. Even between the Henenn group. We were staying in another one in Boracay and trying to arrange transport pickup to transfer. They could not even do this internally. Very poor. At best this is a three star group in my eyes. Not where near levels of a Hyatt or other quality 5 star hotels.

The property is overpriced, the bathrooms and rooms need urgent renovation from a decent architect,these were tired rooms

The staff and building is nice but it's too crowded when we went last December and if you like to compute from Panglao to Tagbilaran and you don't want to hire or rent vehicle the transpo is limited. The beach is not nice at all.

To be a 4-5 dtar Resort i found the checkin unbeliveably slow and hot as the lobby was not air conditioned. 30 minutes at counter. When asking questions none of employees couuld answer without asking someone else. No english. No ac except in rooms. The staff at the lobby driveway questioned everything we requedted. Bad smells in restarants

Awesome!

Everyone was full of smiles, respectful and caring, The surroundings were clean and felt very safe. Stayed there for 6 days but going back for at least 10 to 14 days.

Coming from Hawaii, this place is awesome

Our 2nd time staying @ Henann, got the Premier Access Pool Room and everything was just perfect.
