We love our stay at Plantation Bay. Excellent service, great amenities. My only recommendation is to have more gluten free options in their restaurants. My daughter has Celiac Disease with Type 1 Diabetes & she has limited food selection here.

Everything was fantastic! From the service (hospitality, restaurants, amenities, shops, spas EVERYONE) to the facilities of Plantation Bay itself (wow, they were great!!!) across the board it is really top-notch and 1000%. Plantation Bay exceeded our expectations on every level. (Great Fun, Safe, Clean, Great food and so much to do) Thank you so very, very much. We would highly recommend for sure!!! Hopefully, we will see you all again very, very soon!!!

All the staff in the accommodation were very, very friendly and sweet. In particular, the attitude of the receptacle at check-in is important enough to determine the first impression of the hotel, and the first impression of this hotel was good. Also, the concierge (bellboy) and the staff at the restaurant were friendly (visiting and experiencing all the restaurants in the hotel). The Mogambo Spa was also good because it was a new atmosphere different from other places in Plantation Bay. All the staff I encountered walking around the resort welcomed me with a smile, and these experiences left a very good memory of the resort. And on the first day, I couldn't enjoy the swimming pool, which was the reason I came to this resort because it rained so much, but I think it's a great merit to be able to enjoy the swimming pool even after checking out. This is because the weather in Southeast Asia cannot be predicted.
"However", there are two things that are regrettable. Such good experiences during stay from check-in are offset at check-out. The female staff at the check-out table wasn't very friendly and didn't even say goodbye or thank you for staying. The moment I checked out, I felt like my fantasy about this resort was broken. Furthermore, the attitude of the female staff at bazarr, who was heard after checking out to buy resort souvenirs, deleted the good memories of their stay. I didn't welcome guests when they came in, I hummed alone when I paid, and I wasn't very friendly.

Everything was fantastic! I stay here twice a year. A lot more pricey compared to other places in Cebu, but this place is magical. Love everything’s will keep coming back. So tranquil and you’ll leave the place all rejuvenated. Plus - food is delicious and the service is unbeatable. ♥️

세부는 처음 와봤고 숙소에서 쉬는걸 중점으로 하기위해 찾다가 플랜테이션베이가 가장 적합해서 고르게되었습니자. 노팁 정책인점이 가장 편리했고 그렇다고 직원들 서비스 퀄리티가 떨어지거나 하지 않았습니다. 항상 어딜가나 미소를 띄며 인사 해주시고 시설또한 훌륭했으며 괜히 5성급이 아니구나 싶었습니다. 이곳이 비록 약 20년이 되었던 숙소였지만 그 어떠한 호텔 또는 리조트에 꿀리거나 낙후된 모습이 보이거나 하지 않았고, 정말 관리를 많이 하는 곳이라는게 눈에 띄게 보였습니다.
수영장도 모두 넓고 쾌적하고 붐비지않게 이용할 수 있는 점이 정멀 큰 장점이 되네요.
세부에 다시 방문한다면 또 가고 싶은 곳 입니다.
플랜테이션 베이에 다시 한번 더 감사의 말씀 드리고 싶습니다.

Overall good but some restaurant and facilities were closed. The resort is lacking a lounge bar with music and not much of a beach.

we have 3 months old baby and toddler and we ask for complimentary late check out atleast 30 mins so we can pack and get ready but they told us no. they even charge a 4years old in their breakfast. we cant use phone in any restaurant while people around us are WAY TOO LOUD. this resort cater foreigner only

Our experience was not good. Despite booking a King size bed we found we were given two double beds. No King size beds available. The restaurants were snack bars and cafes. No bars, evening drinks in the main cafe only. Most of the food items we tried to order ‘were out of stock, Sir’. We tried all the restaurants Kilamanjaro, Fiji Japanese and Route 66 diner. All the food was very average but had 5 star prices. Food just about OK. Breakfast for me was eggs and omelette on toast every morning because the Mexican breakfast, Chinese breakfast then next day Italian breakfast were honestly terrible. Would have been nice for a proper international buffet? All the staff were polite and friendly but they had no authority to make simple decisions….just sorry Sir. We tried to get our late check out that we requested on check in, sadly they told us sorry the hotel is busy we can’t do that? When I spoke with the duty manager he just told me he was very sorry but we could extend for a few extra hours with a Php 3000pesos plus fee? No thanks ..everything seemed too much trouble. I can’t understand why this hotel has a five star rating? When I asked the check out staff they told me it was the owner that gave it that rating. If this was given truthfully an average 3 star rating it would be correct. It wouldn’t ever achieve a 5 star hotel from a International auditor. Don’t waste your holiday or money booking here…try one of the main named 5 star hotels. Check out the other poor reviews?
