We always had great experience with Seda Hotel. Whenever we come to Philippines, we always take a break in Manila for a few days before going to Davao. Seda has always been great! We have stayed in both locations, BGC and Abreeza in Davao and we always had great experiences! The staff is amazing, they are so friendly, helpful and respectful! The free buffet breakfast is phenomenal! Tons of options for both Filipino and non-Filipino dishes. The only thing that we were bummed about was the pool, during our stay they are under going some renovations and the pool was included so my girls couldn’t use it and they were really disappointed but we found other stuff for them to do since the location is so close to everything for both shopping and dining. The next time we’re back in Manila, we will definitely stay at Seda again. I hope they’ll always maintain the high quality level of experience that they provide to their customers.

We always had great experience with Seda Hotel. Whenever we come to Philippines, we always take a break in Manila for a few days before going to Davao. Seda has always been great! We have stayed in both locations, BGC and Abreeza in Davao and we always had great experiences! The staff is amazing, they are so friendly, helpful and respectful! I've always enjoyed booking at Seda hotels when I travel to the Philippines and I'm a loyal customer, but this is the first time I've had a bad experience and stay with Seda.
1- The pool is not available, it's under construction until June and it's not mentioned at the time of booking with hotel.ca. If I would have known, I certainly wouldn't have booked at Seda specially the hot weather.
They offered me compensation but I had to ask for it and negotiate it so it should come from them naturally.
2- Access to the restaurant for breakfast requires compliance with a dress code, but this code is only applied to men and not women and when I made the remark they told me they understood and we're working on it.... It's weird, either we apply the code to everyone or we drop it.

Overall was nice, but rooms were lacking storage space. No dresser drawers, no area in bathroom for belongings. Second day after room was changed, face clothes weren’t replaced. Laundry was delayed until 11pm. Just wasn’t a smooth transaction as described.

Seda BGC did not disappoint. All the staff are very professional. I’m sorry but I did not get his name (Armando or Amado) from the security staff downstairs was so very nice and thoughtful, we are holding my son’s suit when he saw us and immediately grab a hanger so we can easily transport the suit without wrinkles. It’s really the little things that means a lot. Thank you! Everyone made our stay super comfortable and fun. FYI…the brunch is excellent!

The warmth and professionalism of the staff are what stood out most for me at this property. Crisselle at the reception desk, who assisted me during both the check-in and check-out process, bookended the experience with a pleasant and efficient welcome and sendoff. If I were to nitpick - my guests had to ask multiple times during breakfast for the air condition to be checked since it was hot and uncomfortable where we were seated at Misto. This happened again the next day, same issue. The walls in the club room I booked were not as soundproofed as I hoped they would be, since I could hear people chatting and the noise of their television in the adjacent room. Other than that, it was a great stay and experience. The food, both at the club lounge and Misto, were good and varied enough. But mostly, it’s the staff’s warmth, professionalism, and outstanding service that will make me want to book here again.
