Super nice staff at all touch points, helped me work on both early checkin and late checkout. Breakfast buffet was also quite good.
Perhaps, on the margin, for a hotel in this category I would have hoped for an actual hotel bar, somewhat more upscale gym facilities, and slightly better room decor (large open floor space without rugs made for a spartan feel). But overall very nice.

Everything’s within walking distance, and the charm, the winding streets, the music in the air… it all feels like a beautiful dream. This morning, we took a special guided tour offered by the hotel, and it was something else. The building itself holds over 7,000 years of history, and the way they’ve preserved its spirit is just incredible. We spent over an hour being swept up in the stories and layers of time that live within these walls.

Beautiful place. View to the river. Dream place for the archeology/history-loving traveler. This place has a museum within its walls and is built on top of an ancient roman post, which is in turn built on top of an ancient phoenician post.
