We arrived during the blackout when electricity was down in the entire country. The front desk was so nice. They had battery operated lights and offered us food and beverages. It was still daylight and we enjoyed the city. When we arrived back, the staff had carried our luggage up 3 flights of stairs to our room in the dark of the stairwell with only the battery operated lights. They were friendly and accommodating.

I can't imagine a better base from which to explore Portugal. This boutique property has it all - updated, clean, firiendly and helpful staff, in a prime location. In fact, our three Lisbon tours met either in the square directy in front of the property, or across the street! Also, the train station is just a $10 Uber ride away to get to Porto and other towns. There are numerous restaurants, sandwich shops, and shopping within walking distance of the hotel. We walked a bit further down the main Blvd on which the hotel is located to find the equivalent of the Champs-Élysées with all the high-end designer stores.

Our stay, though brief, was a great experience. The hotel is historic, but the room was bright, modern, and super clean. The staff was gracious and vey helpful. We chose to stay here because it was centrally situated and within walking distance to many attractions. I would love to return to Lisbon and will definitely return to Blue Liberdade if I do.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast very nice, and we appreciated that there was water in the rooms and complimentary drinks and pastries in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful three night stay! Staff was very friendly & courteous. The hotel's restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Lisbon. And our driver we used from the airport to the hotel was AMAZING! Thanks JP for a great ride and all of the insights and recommendations.

Very clean, free pastries in reception.
Extremely helpful staff. They helped me before my arrival, during my stay and after i got home!!! I can also recommend the free walking tour.
Very central location, right next to a metro station and close to bus stops. The train station is also very close by. Great as a base to explore from.

The hotel is modern and very clean. In a perfect part of the city for exploring the old town. Right next to a metro stop. The staff were wonderful. We paid for a car transfer from the airport and it was well worth the 45 euro. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time.
