Lovely hotel near the souk. Easy transport to the airport and the west Bay Area with the train system.
The staff were lovely.
Very clean and modern area around the hotel, very pleasant to walk around in the evening. The pool is a little small but we would certainly stay there again. We had a lovely view of the west Bay area from our room.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained room. The staff are super helpful, esp the concierge. Location is superb with easy access to Msheireb downtown and Souq Waqif. Metro within walking and plenty of excellent Michelin star dining options around the hotel. Most happy with the experience.

Great hotel, but communication needs improvement
Alwadi Hotel Doha - MGallery is a great hotel in a nice area. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the pool maintenance. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, and I was not informed in advance that it would be closed. Better transparency on such matters would be appreciated.
That being said, the hotel did try to compensate by offering me a late check-out until 5 PM and providing a pass to use the pool at a nearby hotel, which I appreciated. While this helped, clear communication beforehand would have made my stay even better.

Positives: Excellent access to Souq Waqif. Rooms / facility are modern yet spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Negatives: 1) Breakfast buffet, while convenient, is a bit limited. Salad leaves were wilted. Coffee beverages were all prepared like a mocha. 2) No heating in the room: this matters if you are sick and want the room warmed up. The only option is to turn the A/C off.

I loved this property which was located right next to the Souk which is one of the great places to visit in Doha. I enjoyed shopping and finding a place to eat nearby. It was a 20-minute ride to the airport which also made for convenience. The room was beautiful in the heart of historic Doha.

A big disappointment
I regret to say the experience did not meet expectations. The staff were noticeably uncooperative, and the overall level of hospitality fell short of the standards one would anticipate from a hotel in Msheireb Downtown. Such substandard service not only affects the hotel’s reputation but also detracts from the prestige of the area as a whole.
