Decent apartment.
Large space and beds were super comfy.
Only really slept and showered there, spent all day out exploring.
Good location to get from airport and then onto all the main tourist attractions.

Stayed for 2 nights during a recent trip to Edinburgh. Location is good, a few minutes from Haymarket station or a 20 min walk to the Castle area. Reception staff were friendly, but we only saw them once during our stay. A warning for those on the top floor, there's no lift and it's a long way up after a day of sightseeing!
The flat itself was spacious but decor was tired, scuffs and marks on the walls etc. Double bed was comfy but sofabed less so. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, it suited our short stay and being at the cheaper end of accommodation in the area, the quality was as expected.

Booked for 2 adults and 2 children.
The children’s bed was disgusting - loose dirt left between the duvet and sheet, between the sheet and mattress protector, and between the mattress protector and mattress. Additional matter of a pair of dirty socks left on the mattress under the mattress protector too. The mattress was also terribly soiled and disgusting. It was evident that NO cleaning or preparation of the bed had been undertaken prior to our visit and that minimum cleanliness and hygiene standards are not upheld. To make matters worse, when reporting this issue via email as no one was present to report it to, the duty manager refused to acknowledge the issue and no resolution or refund offered. Disgustingly poor hygiene, cleanliness and customer service. Have escalated with Expedia.

The electronic access was very easy to use and provided smooth check-in and check-out. There was an issue with the ceiling fan but they sent someone to fix it immediately and was all taken care of :)
Great location, very close to Haymarket station that will take you to most places. Lots of food options in the area to choose from.

This was a very average property. Fine if it is on at a cheap price, but otherwise you can get much better options in the hotels within a few yards from this property. The lounge area in the apartment I stayed in was, frankly, quite horrible, so I closed the door on it and forgot about it. The bedroom was spartan, but roomy. the bathroom fine, except the glass at the sunk hadn't been cleaned! (ugh). There are no facilities worth mentioning. Overall, very disappointing and not an option I'll choose again.

I was disappointed that cleanliness was not upto what I would want. There was sweet wrappers and bits of food in the mattress of the sofa bed as we unfolded it, very dusty skirting boards and a Rentokil box at the side of the bed which really put me off. It’s a shame really as the furnishings themselves were very nice and it’s in a very handy location

Very poor standard of accommodation. The photographs are very misleading.
Initially we were unable to access the room because the code we were provided with was incorrect. We waited around on the street for this to be rectified, once it was it was changed again the next day!
The room had very little natural light due to being in a basement and the one small window being at the opposite end to the 'living spaces'.
The so called kitchen amounted to a microwave stood on a fridge, a kettle, toaster and the crockery, utensils etc in the same cupboard as the hairdryer. The 'kitchen sink' is at the other end of the 'suit', it comprises of a small plastic caddy with sponge, scourer and fairy liquid stood next to the bathroom sink.
Bathroom towels were in rags, walls marked and the shower wouldn't drain.
For the price there are better locations and much better standard accommodations.
Avoid.

Great location but poor standard of cleanliness. Shower didn’t work properly as the shower head doesn’t stay in the holder when the water was on and had to be hand held. Booking included shower toiletries, but only 2 small sachets of shower gel provided for a booking of 4 people for 2 nights. Kitchen pot scrub was filthy. Sofa bed in very poor condition and kept shedding its coating leaving constant dirt on the floor with no cleaning utensils and had to contact customer service who sent us on a random search through the building to eventually find a small dust pan and brush. Apartment only cleaned every 3 days according to the information but questionable whether that was actually done to any standard, especially during the current Covid climate. Considering the cost, very poor standard of overall accommodation, but at least the bed was comfortable!

The Edinburgh City Suites were lovely. I stayed with two friends I haven’t seen in ages. The Suite was well appointed so we bought groceries and cooked and spent a lovely night enjoying the suite. Check in was simple and secure. Thanks for a lovely stay.

While I enjoyed the limited contact and lack of front office attendant, I did find myself assisting another guest whom had difficulties with the key code system. The apartment itself was good sized, super clean, and stocked with more than I expected. The location is perfect for catching the tram and there is plenty within walking distance. I plan on staying here again my next visit to Scotland.

The location itself is good - but this place does not have a reception and we were not emailed in advance with check in details. The shower didn’t drain well and the toilet seat was broken. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities but there were brochures in there with information about the area.
