Holiday Inn Express GLASGOW - CITY CTR RIVERSIDE, an IHG Hotel

Property was in a central location and close to shops restaurants and amenities. Ideal for an overnight stay. Plenty of parking close to property at discounted price. Quick and easy check in and staff friendly. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Breakfast busy with slight waiting time for a table but nothing unreasonable. Adequate choice of breakfast items and all good. Ideal place to stay if you don’t want anything with all the frills. Would use again

Warm welcome and comfortable room. Had the air conditioning which needed to be on full blast to warm the room as it was a very cold spell. Very comfortable bed and not noisy outside. No sockets at the bedside but 3 elsewhere in the room. Staff helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Great staff. Comfortable stay. Good location. Shame about the price of the discounted parking charges. Especially the drunk person who was banging my door at 2:30am. Not the hotels fault.

What can I say, 'Thank you again!' Contacted he hotel to check the room type as my husband still required the sofabed to prop himself up after an operarion. Anthony arranged a change in room type with no fuss, Thank you Anthony, we appreciated your help.' The staff were polite and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay the hotel was lovely as were the staff. There were 3 of us in a room so it was a bit of a squeeze in the room with the sofa bed out but apart from that will definitely stay again.x

This was one of our worst experience ever. Due to bad circumstances we had been without cash in a kind of emergency and asked for help. There was 0,0 empathy or willigness to support us. The recepation during our stay gave us the impression we should not bother them. The room was smelling like someone run a coffeeshop the night before. They had realised this because the room was ice cold when we came in as all windows were open. Felt like they almost pulled away plates while you were eating breakfast at 10 AM. Otherall the whole experience was the worst I ever had. The building itself was kind of depressing, rooms painted in dark colour so I can relate to the fact that staff gets depressed when working there every day. Apart from the location I would not recommend this Hotel at and would rather sleep on the street the next time before returning there.

The person who checked me in was lovely. The room is good for the price. Was pretty quiet and was able to sleep well.

This is our 4th stay at this hotel! Clean, comfortable rooms close to Merchant City & the train station & subway. Nice breakfast with lots of variety, friendly staff and overall great value. Definitely recommend to those looking for a good base while exploring Glasgow!

Hotel well situated pretty near town centre and close to Glasgow Green by the river . Only downside was there was no heating in the toilet/ shower room .

My husband and I spent two night here in January. The hotel was very clean, and everything was comfortable. The staff was friendly however we didn’t interact much with them as it is a busy hotel and lobby. The breakfast was very good but get there early it’s busy! The area at first seemed empty but we realized very quickly we were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to go but in all honesty ended up taking Uber for a reasonable rate. Parking is across the street in a very large open lot so ample space, I was worried about leaving the car overnight initially but it was safe and my concern was unwarranted.

A great stay at the Holiday Inn for a great price. Free breakfast was great too. Clean and comfortable and staff were lovely.

People staying were 2 adults 2 kids of ages 10 and 8. Sofa bed is small to accommodate 2 kids easily.

Great location near city center and walkable to the sites. Large car park across the street with reduced price for guest. Close to airport and a great hot/cold breakfast

Comfy room for an overnight stay, felt slightly comfortable at check in, a look between two receptionists as if they were looking down on us

Cleaners had left window open which i didn't realise so had to keep heating running most of the night to stay warm but air con system was too noisy so didn't get any sleep for 2 nights. Otherwise all good and decent hotel

No hotel parking but parking area wasnt too far away from hotel, perhaps hotel customer needs to walk for 3-5 minutes from hotel to the car park.
