Holiday Inn GLASGOW AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

So close to the airport, no shuttle required. Pay attention to signage when you leave the main entrance to find departures area.

Rooms are in need of a refurb. Room smelled of smoke.

You can tell when you are not really a priority for the staff. Breakfast was at certain time and if you wanted to continue to eat your meal after those hours they would kick you out. Additionally, I have a broken rib from being thrown off a horse but the rules would not allow the bar tender to walk 10 feet over to the seated part of the bar to serve me a drink and one would not allow a bar tab even if it also included food. It is extremely convenient to the Glasgow airport but I was a pawn in a corporate institution. However, one lady at the front was really great and really helpful. She was the "lady of color" Don't know her name but she was super.

The reception, bar, restaurant area is lovely. My room was awful. It was dirty - the bed frame was stained all over, the walls were filthy, the carpet was full of dust bunnies, one of my pillowcases didn't seem all that clean, the bathroom floor wasn't clean, the shower curtain was disgusting, the area round the toilet was broken, the door frame inside the bathroom was falling apart, some floor tiles were cracked. Although I was in a non-smoking room, I was getting smoke through the walls/floor/ventilation system from another area - was really strong in the bathroom and was waking me in the night. I couldn't wait to get out at 5am for my flight. The only thing going for this place is it's proximity to the airport for such early flights. I've stayed here before and don't remember it being this grim - time for some serious investment. If I have another flight not quite so early I'll not be staying here again. Not worth the grottiness!

Place is great for airport! Serves a purpose! Room was a bit old, there was an attempt to modernise it, which worked to a degree. It was fine for a few hours sleep after a long flight! Breakfast was fine

Quick and easy check in. Room did the job for overnight stay. Ate in hotel n the evening and food decent enough. Breakfast in morning reasonable choice. Quick and effective check out.

Great literally 2 minutes walk to terminal

Very pleasant airport hotel 2 minutes walk from the airport itself. Comfortable, clean, quiet room. Good breakfast.

Noisy room. There was a loud noise every time us or neighbours flushed toilet. Bed not comfortable. Room had stale smell as did corridors. Flys in breakfast area. Great location though and staff friendly. Preferred Holiday Inn Express close by.

The proximity to Glasgow Airport makes this hotel the ultimate in convenience. The food was also delicious !

This hotel is in an excellent location within a short walk to the main terminal of the airport. When checking in, the staff person was rather curt and unhelpful.

We were exhausted and the staff was very helpful and fast getting us checked in. They even went the extra mile to give us some helpful info about the area and the best way to get around.

I recently had leg surgery and needed a raised Toilet (portable) seat and my husband was told by desk staff that that is not a service provided by the hotel. As a result going to the toilet was very imposible on your unusually low toilets and a shower was impossible.
