Will never stay at this hotel again. Corridors were not cleared of plates of food and drinks outside rooms and was dark and had a smell of either damp or mould. Room was basic and cost £400 for 1 night. Very overpriced for minimal facilities. Breakfast was poor, staff interaction nil. Advertising as Murrayfield but turns out it’s just under 3 miles from the stadium. Be wary if going to a concert/rugby match as you need to get a taxi to town centre or stadium.

It was very good customer service in reception. The room is spacious for family, but the room and swimming pool facilities condition were a bit dilapidated. The swimming pool water was quite warm though. And nearby bus stop to Edinburgh centre was very convenient.

A tale of two halves - first night the tiniest room off the lift lobby was uncomfortable and noisy. Thanks to accommodating staff our second night was a much bigger and massively quieter room. Would definitely stay again…. Just specify room next time!

Check-in simple enough, rooms a little dated ….they need to sort the door closers…sound of slamming doors late into evening and 6am onwards so sleep wasn’t great.

The facilities were great and staff were all lovely. The condition of the building does impact the ability to keep it clean and maintained effectively, which does let it down.
There was also no monitoring in the fitness area which meant that very young children were with their parents in the sauna and steam room.

It's a decent place to stay, however I believe it's a bit outside of the city and absence of lifts to the room we lived marred our experience a little.
The staff is very friendly.
Could do better on the breakfast spread.

Check in was very efficient, staff were all very helpful and polite. Bed was enormous and very comfortable, room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, with a varied choice, although some of the cooked items had obviously been out for a while and were inedible.

Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They made myself and my children very welcome at the hotel and sorted a cot out for my 1 year old quickly.
The rooms were spacious with the beds comfortable. Access to the pool was a huge positive for my children. The only downside of our stay was the breakfast. My 1 year old’s high chair was given to us dirty and while the options of breakfast looked great, the hot food appeared very over held with thick dried out layers on top of the beans, eggs etc meaning we didn’t eat in.
