Devin Hotel

The accommodations were comfortable, the location was excellent, the staff was attentive and the breakfast was terrific. Would stay again. Be advised the heated indoor pool is only open after 2pm. My only disappointment was not being able to swim in the morning, as this was the primary reason I booked this hotel over others. For a fee I was able to use the pool at the larger hotel next door- which was fabulous and had views of the Castle.

Beautifully decorated hotel with an older feel. I found the service quite variable… sometimes seemed reluctant… simple things like a request for cutlery at breakfast were greeted with a scowl, but in contrast, Ivan at reception could not have been more pleasant or helpful.

Excellent staff, breakfast and spa!

My wife and I stayed at the Devin Hotel while in Bratislava. We were thrilled with the hotel. It's located at the entrance to the old town. Lots of activities are within walking distance. The staff were highly service oriented. They also provide a great breakfast. Highly recommended!

The hotel served excellent breakfast, and the two gentleman who work in the dining room and the bar are polite , welcoming, and helpful to the guests. The lady who works daily in the dining room does not seem to like her job: she doesn’t greet the guests and keeps a stern face all the time. One morning, she did not collect the trash on my table. When the gentleman at the desk called it to her attention, after he cleaned it himself, she had an attitude and appeared angry. I didn’t feel like I was a valued customer at that moment because she cleaned the tables around me but mine. I was sitting alone at my favorite table by the window facing the gate to the Devin Cafe, and I knew she saw me. On previous occasions, when I was having breakfast with my white colleagues, she always came by and cleaned the tables. I was very disappointed when she showed bias and ignored me this time. Additionally, I experienced a similar issue with one of the housekeepers who left soiled towels in front of the bathroom door and the entrance door of my room. She also left her key on the floor in my room. This housekeeper never greeted me every time we ran into each other but would stare straight at me. She seemed unfriendly and ill-mannered at times. It was the young man at the front desk who saved the day by giving me fresh towels after apologizing for this incident. Overall, Hotel Devin offers great services and amenities, and it’s well situated on the Danube River. I highly recommend it to All.

I loved highly cordial and professional staff and the hotel's amazing spa: their pool,sauna, steam and the whole relaxing environment.My view was also amazing!

The spa is great and what makes this property a great place to stay. If you are not using the spa I would consider other hotels. The spa is not well staffed - went two nights and both had only one staff member that was busy cleaning or just not around. Could not get a drink (including water) without leaving the pool or spa, drying off and walk to the entrance desk. At the desk you have to wait cold and wet until the staff member showed up. Love the spa but bring your own water/drink. Rooms are quiet with the sound proof doors. It is only s few mins walk to old city

Good breakfast. Lovely spa area. The pool was nice but a bit small. The gym was very small with inferior equipment. The room was nice and comfy but the lack of sound proofing was an inconvenience. The view from the room was beautiful and employees were polite and helpful.
