I loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam.

Absolutely gorgeous setting and loved the pool. If you’re traveling the garden route and staying just a night make sure to get there early enough in the day to enjoy the grounds! Also note that not all rooms have A/C. They all come with at least a fan though!

The room was lovely albeit a bit hot even with a fan, as a result of the weather. The parking is secure and I felt safe in the hotel and other village overall. Room access was through a garden path which while lovely can but a bit hard if you have a wheely case. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. A great spot overall.

Lovely property. The owner greeted us even though we arrive after 9:00. Breakfast was delicious and in a light and inviting room. The hotel is a cosy collection of older small buildings. Beautifully maintained.

Wonderful hosts. We’ve stayed overnight coming from Knysna on our way to Cape Town. It was already quite late but they made us immediately feel welcome with their kindness and helpfulness.
Beautiful rooms and a wonderful breakfast included in the rates.
We will definitely revisit and hopefully longer

Hotel muito bonito , típico , região agradável , quarto bem montado. Aquecimento ótimo . Chuveiro e cama ótimos . Banheira charmosa que não usei. Café da manhã adequado. Chegamos de noite e não tinha opção de jantar , sentimos falta disso.

Bei uns im Kühlschrank waren Speisen der vorherigen Gäste, insgesamt roch es unangenehm in der Unterkunft, die Einrichtung ist sehr abgelebt, das Frühstück ist sehr bescheiden, kaum Auswahl, das Geschirr und das Besteck zum Teil unangenehm. Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht mehr buchen.
