Location: Within walking distance to Myeongdong and Euljiro-3 train stations. Located within Myeongdong so it 's very convenient. Room: A little on the small side. The room we got was a view of the toilets in the building next to it. Service: Efficient. No fuss. Not personable. Housekeeping: Satisfactory. Beddings: Comfortable. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but options like McDonald 's, Isaac Toast and other local eateries are available nearby. Opposite the hotel is a cafe Leonidas which sells quality coffee at KRW25,000 from 8-11am.

Very pleased on the location, options on the lounge were great. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend, however , our room was given to us one hour earlier than check in and unlike other hotels I have stayed at all my life , we were charged a fee. Never seen that before.

The Royal is in a fantastic position in the the thick of all the action in Myeongdong. It is in a quiet position just above the street action. It is handy to public transportation and many high end shops. Very accessible to many of the cities highlights. Staff were a delight. Restaurant and bars have great views.

The Hotel was nice and clean. However it was a warm March weekend and the hotel didn’t have its air conditioning on. Our room was 27 degrees C (78 degrees F) the entire stay. It was absolutely terrible to try and sleep. They offered us a standing fan which was something, but it didn’t help.

The hotel was in an amazing location, steps to all shopping and food. Hotel itself was good, had to pay an upgrade fee for a king bed which I had reserved a queen. The room direction could have been better since I did upgrade, I was facing a roof of a building. Included breakfast which was good. I would stay again for the location.
