Sollago Myeongdong Hotel & Residence

Great place to stay. Has a convenience store and a coffee shop in the lobby itself. Very close to subway stations too. Lots of local eateries around and Myeongdong area is very close. Rooms were clean. Staff offered us an upgrade and made our stay even more special.

The room we stayed was surprisingly roomy and had a great view of the nearby Namsam tower. It was a great place to stay for couple of nights while in Seoul before continuing on with rest of our trip

I would have preferred to have a more spacious room than having a washing machine and a kitchen benchtop with stove and microwave oven but no plates, bowls, and cutleries in the room - defeats the purpose of having a kitchenette. Rather have a communal room with these kitchen and washing facilities like some hotels do.

Great hotel! Very walkable with great metro access. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sollago was a comfortable stay, right in the trendy area of Myeondong and conveniently located next to lots of transportation options. Loved having laundry and a kitchen!

Our experience in Seoul was amazing. Sollago exceeded our expectations, our favorite part is getting to be close to everything and it’s convenient. We will never forget Ms. Eun Hee Lim, she took care of our room and made sure we were always taken care of. She’s definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Sollago. We will come back next year!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay, the location was very convenient to Myeongdong shopping area (1 subway stop that was close to hotel). The rooms were clean and comfortable with GS25 and lots of restaurants downstairs at street level. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in their loft with 2 other female friends and although the room itself was decent, I would probably not stay here again in future. I shall talk about the good points first. The room had 2 floors and the layout was perfect for a group of 3. The water pressure was strong. The amenities provided in the room were great as well -- there was even a washing machine. The hotel was also located conveniently, walkable to Chungmuro station which is one stop away from Myeongdong station. There were many food options around, including an affordable KBBQ restaurant right beside the hotel and a few convenience stores. However, there were some areas around the hotel which seemed a bit shady at night, especially since it was right opposite a large motel. The hallways before entering the room were very dull too. This hotel also does not provide free luggage storage after check out and we had to pay to use their lockers in their basement to store our luggages. The biggest turn-off is the poor service of one of the receptionists. On one night, my friend and I asked him for help to book a taxi, and he was friendly about it at first. However, the taxi did not arrive so we decided to ask him for help again. That was when his face turned and we got shouted at by him to stand aside so that he could serve another guest. We did not appreciate his poor attitude and decided to settle the taxi ourselves.

This was a great base for our week long stay in Seoul. The hotel is easy to find and has great transport links. The food options are great and there are even two convenience stores in the hotel for late night snacks. Recommend.

Very good location to walk around to authentic Korean restaurants. Also 18 mins yo Myeondong shopping area which was amazing!

This hotel was easy to find and very clean. The staff were very friendly too. Some things to note: - they advertised that they have a kitchenette. The extent of this is a hob, microwave, kettle and 2 cups. I booked this place so we had the option to cook. But realistically, who is going to bring a frying pan, cutlery and a chopping board with them on holiday? With this in mind, this hotel is very eco friendly, because they don't provide anything. So we aren't running up their electricity bill either! - they have a washing machine but provide no powder or detergent. We brought laundry with us as we are on a long trip, so doing some washing would help us before we get back home. We carried the extra weight for nothing. Most hotels provide at least a small sachet of powder. It is very unrealistic to think that customers will go and buy a huge tub of powder for a short stay. We did attempt to find powder but all we could find locally was large tubs meant for a household for several weeks. - if you have a train to catch, allow an extra 5 minutes. The lift takes forever because the building is so big. Oh, and even after waiting you'll have cleaning staff cut in front and close the lift door in your face... - tiny thing, the door handles are very unintuitive. And not obvious whether they needed to be pushed, pulled, turned or twisted.

I love that it has its own washer and dryer in the room. It felt I was living in my own apartment in Seoul. :)

A great hotel and close enough to Myeongdong area. About 10 mins away. About 5 mins walk to Chungmung metro station so ideal. The cafe downstairs is great too. The also have a small shop near reception area. So overall a great hotel with good sized clean rooms.

Good location near local restaurants; away from the noise of Meongdong, but within walking distance.

Arrived at noon and the front desk was able to check me into a room right away. A few blocks to Myeongdong for shopping and a lot of clinics, and the hotel sits right between 2 airport express buses. The room is small so beware that a large suitcase isn’t easy to lay flat and open except in the main walkway from the door to the beds which hinders access to the full size fridge and freezer, washing machine, sink, bathroom, and door. Overall very cozy and clean, I would highly recommend despite the limited space. Just FYI, room service will enter your room regardless of your sign, just to refresh towels and waterbottle which is much appreciated!

The staff were welcoming and helpful. At the check-in counter, the staff managed to add additional15mins of free parking to the original 30mins that was offered to me after i indicate that i drove and seeking

location is amazing, hotel is clean, staffs are friendly, a couple of mins walk to the subway. will come back to stay again!

This was probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in based on room amenities, service, attitude of employees, dining options nearby, ease of access to the most popular metro lines, and convenience store options. I've stayed in many hotels with this being the cheapest but the most impressive. The employees are generally very nice and helpful, especially the housekeeping ladies. You get to wash and dry your clothes in the room, cook in the room (I didn't do this), have acess to a microwave, have a full sized fridge and freezer, and have an air purifier in the room. These are all extras ontop of what a standard hotel would generally provide in the room. Hotel is very nice for a long stay. I used to stay near Myeongdong/Euljiro-1 station but this is a good option.

I love it that there is a washer and microwave in the room itself. Though there is no dryer we could loan their drying rack and our clothes dry up quite fast thanks to no humid weather. Overall a good stay. Thank you!!
