Cortijo El Paraíso

These hotel is in a perfect location next to La isleta del Moro , rooms are very nice. We will come back!

This hotel is great for a short break for rest and relaxation. It is set in a natural park, up and away from the coastal road. The track up to the hotel needs a 4x4 to get up to the parking space, but that makes it feel more exclusive when you make it up there. There is a good outdoor pool and places to relax on the terrace overlooking the area down to the sea. The rooms are clean, but the bathroom is only separated by a curtain so you have to be very comfortable with your travelling companion. We stayed in a mountain view room and had a small terrace where we could sit and view the stars at night. It was also good to have a fridge in the room so we could keep our drinks chilled. We also enjoyed our hikes around the immediate area.

It is in the middle of nowhere. Scenic. Basic hotel, clean and very good staff. No wifi in rooms and TV had one channel. You have to drive if you want dinner. Overall it was as advertised

This place is utterly enchanting. A little isolated at the foot of small mountains with small private terraces looking out across the unspoilt landscape to the sea. I walked down to the beach in 15 minutes. It has a lovely swimming pool and many communal areas. It was May so very few people. Made for a fantastically restful few days. Right in Cabo De Gata Park so an easy drive to other spectacular wild beaches and the village of San Jose is about a 15 minute drive away for restaurants and shops. It looks like the place was just refurbished to an excellent standard. If you want to get away from it all in Spain but still enjoy the sun and sea this is the place-at least in the less busy months. Only drawback was the food in the restaurant was so so and a bit pricey but other than that wonderful.

Location wasn't as described. The driveway was so rough, was afraid a tire would be blown out. Bugs in the room.

Very nice boutique style hotel - 15 rooms only - isolated - a good thing - good bar good restaurant nice pool pleasant well equipped rooms. A 20minute walk to La Isleta del Moro and Los Pozo dos Frailes for good restaurants and a 15 minute drive to Genovesses beaches past San Jose

Einsam in toller Lage, am Ende einer Schotterstrasse. Großzügige Anlage mit schönem Pool, leider kein Restaurant und eingeschränkter Barbetrieb. Internet nur in der Rezeption. Schöne Zimmer mit Terrasse und gut funktionierender Klimaanlage.

Un sitio perfecto muy agradable y en un sitio inmejorable

El hotel es único, está en un pareja natural protejido y por eso el acceso es un camino de piedras. Si buscas la civilización típica del turística este no es tu sitio. Lo maravilloso del enclave son las vistas a los volcanes 2 Frailes y la playa de los Escullos. Recordar respetar el entorno libre de basuras, botellas y plásticos y podrás disfrutar de la fauna desde tu balcón: perdices, lagartijas, familia de conejos de campo y aves esteparias...

Very nice place with beautiful decorated rooms, but the food is bad. I recommend you eat somewhere else.

Det här hotellet är rustikt och mitt bland bergen. Utsikten över havet är begränsad, och man måste köra på lång, smal grusväg för att komma fram eller ta sig därifrån till stranden. Platsen är fin, men inte alls 4-stjärnig lyx. Trots att hotellet var tomt pga lågsäsong, så fick vi ett dubbelrum på baksidan med utsikt över en bergsvägg. Vi fick inte rumsservice eller ha mat på rummet, och baren vid poolen var stängd. På rummen finns ingen möjlighet att koka/dricka kaffe, ingen hårtork, och ingen wifi. Man får små påspaket/provpaket med schampo istället för små flaskor eller tvål. På toaletten fanns endast en liten plast-"korg" utan påse som skulle vara till sopor, och drog till sig myror. Maten i restaurangen var redan förgjord och bara uppvärmd av receptionisten, vilket inte är bra när man har allergier. Vi såg aldrig någon annan personal förutom två receptionister. Sammantaget var det för dyrt och inte alls värt sin 4-stjärniga status.

We verbleven in het natuurgebied van de Cabo de Gata en kunnen ons geen beter verblijf voorstellen dan Cortijo el Paraíso. Het kleinschalige hotel met 16 kamers ligt ver genoeg van de doorgaande weg aan de voet van de bergketen en biedt een adembenemend uitzicht op de baai van los Escullos. De kamer met zeezicht is relaxt gelegen midden in een mediterrane tuin waar de exotische vogels uit het gebied graag naartoe komen. Je komt hier volledig tot rust. In de omgeving zijn er mooie wandelpaden en de stadjes zijn allemaal binnen een halfuur rijden te bereiken. Avondeten deden we iedere avond in het hotel voor € 18,00 kregen we een driegangenmenu met een wijntje en koffie. En lekker bereid. De kamer was compleet, schoonmaken kon wel wat beter, maar dit was slechts een klein detail. We komen hier zeker een keer terug. Mooi is het om in Alicante te beginnen en in Almería te eindigen.

Buena estancia, personal amable pero poco flexibles con horarios de entradas y salidas.. El desayuno bastante pobre. A destacar que al ser hotel en desierto hay que tener precaución con los bichos. Tuvimos un huésped en forma de alacrán que no estaba invitado.Por lo demás vistas y entorno privilegiado.
