Finca Son Arnau

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this gorgeous property. We agreed it was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. From the accommodation, stunning location and views, outstanding breakfast and great service, it was a relaxing and enjoyable break. We hope to return and would definitely recommend a stay.

Undoubtedly the best thing about this beautiful Finca is the service. The couple who run it are extremely friendly and kind. The breakfast is something to look forward to, and the pool area is divine.

Super beautiful hotel which is well located in a charming town with great restaurants too. Breakfast was amazing and amenities were fantastic. Walls are thin though, and we could hear most of what our neighbours were doing at all hours of the day and night.

Brilliant stay from start to finish with Susan and Alex. They accomodated early arrival, the place was spotless and the location in the village was a great base. Susan sorted restaurant bookings and everything we needed to make our stay every bit worry free.

The perfect micro-boutique hotel, set in lovely village, with highly personalised yet professional service from owners Susan and Alex, views for miles from terraces, pool and room alike and great range and execution of breakfast items. Tried avocado toasts with eggs, pancake stack, eggs Benedict and continental (toast, home made granola with yogurt plus fruit bowl) and all were excellent. Bike friendly (secure garage) with Ross Rent just yards away so perfect for cyclists. Had one very good dinner at the hotel but otherwise enjoyed restaurants in the village or a drive away. Wonderful stay!

Welcomed by the owner and given an upgrade. Lovely room with excellent facilities. Everything was very friendly and personal - the owners remember your name and details but absolutely do not intrude in a really peaceful and quiet environment. An idyllic retreat with beautiful views from the rooms and pool. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

Susan and Alex have a little bit of Heaven in a lovely village situated right in the middle of the island. The hotel is small, intimate with a lovely pool overlooking a gorgeous view. They are both fabulous chefs - breakfast on the terrace is a wonderful way to start the day! I highly recommend everything about Son Arnau!!

The hotel is charming as are Alex and Susan. They could not have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool, gardens and views spectacular. The breakfast was wonderfully delicious too. So good in fact that we booked next year before we had even checked out. Already looking forward to returning. A fabulous find and one that will not disappoint.

Accommodation is to an excellent standard. Local area is very tranquil. The service in the hotel itself was excellent. Food in the hotel was very tasty and catered for all dietary needs. Restaraunts in the local area are of a similar high standard, and are reasonably cheap. I don't usually bother to write reviews for hotels, but, on this occasion I felt that our stay at the Hotel Son Arnau exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend this.

A great location within the heart of the village and Central Palma, close to the mountains. The gentle sound of the sheep bells close by and down in the valley. Stunning views from the rear terrace gardens across the infinity pool looking out across the island with the olive groves and pastures dropping away to the horizon. Picture perfect views again when you wake to see the sun rise across the haze covered valley (I think from most rooms but certainly from room 2). Followed by dramatic sky colours of sunset across to the horizon. But that's just the views outside! Inside the welcome is personal and attentive, the hotel is a magnificent modern interior within a 300 to 400 year old farm house full of character but crisp, clean and contemporary modern. The rooms are spacious with huge shower rooms, crisp, clean and comfy bedding. We stayed for three nights and the ultra quiet of the surroundings, comfy beds and ambiance of the place ensure me (a very particular guest) three great nights sleep. We ate out each night at great restaurants close by (Selva and Inca) and the breakfast provided by Sarah and Alex was also excellent. From toast, fresh musli to eggs Benedict (with Alexes own homemade sauce)..... perfect. Happy to help to book restaurants, suggest walking routes, arrange anything you might need. I've now spent over 130 nights in over 30 hotels in the past 12 months, this one is very very high on the list of the best. I could live here, never mind visit for a holiday!
