Golondrinas de la Alhambra

The location is wonderful for exploring the Alhambra area. You can walk to the Sacromonte and Albaicin areas as well. It was nice to have a little kitchen. My one main complaint was that i booked this property specifically for the shuttles that were offered (first thing mentioned on Expedia). Two days into my stay I learned this was no longer being offered. I spent many stressful hours trying to work around that. Very disappointed. I told them they should take that off the website. Last i looked, it's still there. If an amenity is important to you, check before you book .

Nice place. It was difficult to check in online and find the address through the email. But I messaged the hotel and they wrote me on what’s app with the address and check in instructions

We overall enjoyed our stay at this location. It’s conveniently located to the Alhambra and not too far to walk to the city center. It is a great location. We did drive here and getting through the neighborhood was a little rough initially as the streets were tight, but we made it. We drove through the small alley in the middle of the night to drop off our luggage, but had to reverse all the way out, which was a little nerve wrecking, and decided to carry the luggage to the car upon check out to not do it again. The room was cute. It was just a little dirty under the furniture and the bathroom had a little odor, but was tolerable. Honestly the wifi from the room wasn’t great though. There were two options. The one k was able to connect to in the room was a bit slow and the other fast one, only was able to connect downstairs. I was able to check in and out with ease before and after the normal hours. They checked in with me via WhatsApp and through email as well. We overall had a pleasant stay.

I had an Expedia confirmation, but when I arrived I was told no room available. DON'T STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

Close to the Alhambra. Steep climb to the apartment building due to its location.

Pros: it's a one bedroom with a kitchenette. Cons: we didn't have hot water, were told they could call maintenance, which is the last thing you want to hear after a long day at 8pm and you're only staying for a night. We also never met anyone to check us in or out, everything was handled by some watsapp number. The street is on a quiet street but also on a deadend street and taxis don't want to go in, so you end up carrying your luggage through cobblestone streets.

This place is a gem! We stayed in the top apartment and the views over Granada were amazing! You truly are on top of the world! The space is made to feel much bigger than it is with a loft overhead, keeping the living area and kitchenette open enough to feel nice while having a separate area to sleep. It's a trek up the stairs with your luggage, but the views pay for it instantly. Well equiped, nicely furnished, what can I say other than that this was a true gem!

Good choise

The apartment was easy to check in with self check- in. It was clean and had the basics but felt a bit crowded for 3 people. Close to what we wanted to see (5minutes walk to flamenco show and we also walked 25minutes to the Alahambra). The host provided much information about restaurants and excursions in the area and provided info regarding parking and general transportation which was helpful. Not easily accessible if one has mobility issues due to the hills and bumping roads (but most parts of Granada are challenging I would imagine). This apartment was generally good value for the price if you are just looking for a place to sleep.

Not a place for people with limited physical abilities.

Access codes and parking options would be nice to have ahead via direct email or text rather than through Hotels.com site. We did find them on hotel.com but only after arriving. The apartment was nice, comfortable, but thin walls made it a bit noisy. Bare necessities in the bathroom. Laundry facilities were a plus and part of the reason we selected this property.

Don't be deceived by the positive reviews. Our experience at the property was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, there was no receptionist available, and we had to search for codes in the email just to enter the property. The moment we stepped into the room, an unpleasant smell of smoke or mold hit us, triggering my sensitivity and causing constant coughing. Furthermore, everything in the room appeared old and worn-out, and to add to the discomfort, there was no curtain on the window, leaving us with no privacy. Attempts to contact the owner for resolution proved fruitless as we received no response. In desperation, I reached out to hotels.com to explore the possibility of changing the room or canceling the reservation. Sadly, we were informed that the booking was non-refundable. Left with no choice, we had to book another hotel, resulting in the loss of our two-night accommodation costs. It was a disappointing and regrettable experience overall.

Would definitely stay here again. Close to the Alhambra.

Cozy and conveniently located. Room was clean with convenient kitchenette and washing facilities. Would certainly stay again for short trip. Wifi was difficult to access and hot water is very limited. Did not receive access codes until after arrival but thankfully someone was at property.

Manager was great. Had laundry facilities. Close to most attractions.

We had a great time staying in this apartment. The host was very nice to show us where we parked our car.

Las Golondrinas is well-located for visiting Granada. The Admin was very communicative and helpful with us. The apartment was well maintained and artfully decorated. The highlight for us was the terrace. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Granada.

The place is clean and cosy. I really liked the apartment and the whole building. I could feel there almost like at home :)

LOVE the location, walked to Alhambra, walked to great Tapas restaurants, quiet street. Apartment is basic and a simple base for exploring, just as advertised.
