We are travelling the world on our bikes and the staff here were very welcoming and kind which is lovely when you arrive exhausted from a big day cycling! The room was very spacious and the beds super comfortable. Dinner was perfect. The food and service both excellent and we were made to feel special. Great service all round and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again! Highly recommend!

Very atmospheric hotel with excellent service. A little tucked away in a ‘nothing to speak of village’ but a perfect stop off location for Olite with its medieval castle and Bardenas Reales - we were provided with a substantial picnic for €12 each. The evening menu was simple but substantial and very good value.

Quiet and peaceful hotel in rural setting, great for nearby Bardenas Reales. The room was a bit on the small side but well furnished and with a surprisingly modern bathroom. The staff, usually just a gentleman and a lady, and not sure if they own the property, but certainly worked so hard for one to believe thay must have a vested interest, were knowledgeable and helpful. Dinner was a bargain, great 3 course meal with a good menu. Highly recommended. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

The adjacent abbey was built during the first half of XVIII century; the premises where the hotel sits today were built to serve as the abbey library and study place for the monks. Reyes, the owner of the hotel, purchased the place a few years ago and set up this cozy, health-minded business. Not only she cares about every single detail during your stay but she also offers an excellent very reasonably-priced 3-course menu for lunch and dinner. No doubt both the stay and food are highly recommendable.

Surrounded by farms, this little village has a few historic buildings. It takes about 15 minutes to go around the city center. Nothing much around. Few restaurants nearby. The hotel is confortable with a rustic charm of old stone buildings.

This is a small hotel with a big heart. Previously a convent, but sympathetically converted into a modern hotel with character. The menu of the day is excellent value and included good, local wine. Breakfasts were typically Spanish with fruit juice, bread, chopped tomato spread (Catalonian speciality), butter and jams + coffee. The room we were in was large, comfortable, had all mod cons (including a bidet) and with a dual aspect. One large window looking towards the church and the other, smaller window with a view over the houses in the front of the hotel and towards the hills in the distance. Our room was on the second floor so I am not sure if the rooms on the first floor would be able to see over the houses. It was very quiet when we were there and until the last day, we were the only people staying in the hotel. Staff were wonderful and very helpful, but their English is limited so knowledge of a little Spanish is useful here, although the lady on Reception also spoke French which was handy on occasions. Excellent service in a very nice hotel. Highly recommended!
