We always try to stay here partly as Eduardo's welcome is so great. It's maybe more of a posh Hostal as it's used in the main for walkers on the pilgrim trail. Pretentious it's not. The 3 course meal is basic but tasty and plentiful and at 14€ including wine and warm crusty brea d, it's great value. The rooms are decorated in modern trendy style. The beds are very comfortable and our dog Benji is made as welcome as we are.

We've stayed here regularly over the last few years but standards have dropped. When we arrived we were unable to shower because they had run out of hot water. The food and service in the restaurant was awful, despite there being very few diners. I returned my main dish of fish because it was almost raw and way past its best time to eat, it was inedible. It was exchanged, but we didn't expect such poor service. We've decided not to stay here again, it has spoilt our view of the hotel.

We stayed for just 1 night while walking the Camino. We had lunch when we arrived before we checked in and the welcome was very friendly. There is a large area to sit outside. They host a communal meal each evening which is great value. We really enjoyed speaking with other pilgrims. The room and bathroom was lovely.

It was the perfect stop during my walk of “El Camino”. The accommodations are very modern and comfortable, one of the bests in the trip so far. Most of all, the attention and service provided by “Eduardo” are second to none. You can tell the pride of a well run family business!

Of all the hostels we have stayed in, this was the most welcoming and the best! We were treated like guests in a private home. There was a joyous atmosphere thanks to the personal attention of Eduardo who seemed to me everywhere at once. Serving drinks, welcoming more guests, pouring coffee and always smiling with a clever things to say that kept us smiling right back. If we weren’t continuing on the Camino we would have stayed a few more days it was that good. Oh and the dinner was a real treat with good wine!!!!
