Hotel Indigo MADRID - GRAN VIA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Good location, Nice roof top bar but they open it up to non guests and on weekends hard to get a seat.

I stayed at two hotels during my stay in Madrid. Hotel Indigo is the one that I would return to. Excellent service and amenities (coffee maker in room, bathrobe). Location is very convenient.

Great location, Awesome rooftop bar. Beautiful Hotel with excellent staff that truly understand customer care! Only thing preventing “5 star”: Room Not ready upon 5 pm arrival. (Drink tickets provided) 😀. 1 of 2 Elevators not working our entire 5 night stay (11th floor prevented stairs)

The Property es really good and convenient for everything has restaurants with good food and bars the room was very good but the only problem wa some of the elevator out of service and the other one took very long to go up and down.

Madrid’s majority of tourist attractions are within walking distance of this hotel. The hotel’s front desk staff is highly professional and friendly. Located on a side street off Gran Via, it’s convenient for calling a taxi or booking a ride-share car.

The room was tired. Needed updating. Room was very dark

I had an average experience at the hotel. One of the lifts was out of service and the other one had a massive waiting time. We were on 7th floor but most of the times we had to take the stairs. Another issue was the walls were too thin. We could hear the room next door brushing their teeth, drying hair, having shower. Not sure if that was because we were put in an Interconnecting room. Other than that everything was good, staff were very friendly and room was clean.

Roof top bar and breakfast was wonderful.

I loved how all personnel was all very attentive and helpful all the rooms are spotless, smells good, breakfast was also very delicious with fresh grounded coffee every morning, and bar also had good drinks. Its located at the heart of gran Via close to everything

Great staff including bar tender, conveniently located, safe area. Did have an odor issue coming from the bathroom area past midnight. This might require revision of odor tramps.

Needs better sound proofing. Otherwise up to standard for the price.

Overall it was quite a bad experience. From the moment you enter the hotel, there is such a strong scent that for me was difficult to support. Then the elevators were so slow and often times the card would not work to get them going. There was presumably a room service, but there was no menu or instructions how to order food from the room. I tried twice to book a massage, there was no availability. One morning there was a horrible alarm that went on for more than 30'. There was no public announcement from the hotel staff on what was going on. I had booked a junior suite, but it was a very mediocre room in terms of both space and furniture. I can't even imagine what the basic room would look like.

This is a cute hotel in the central District of Madrid. The rooms were adequate in size, and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar area is quite nice. If I were to travel back to Madrid for a few days I would consider this hotel again.

Nice location in a central area. Waking dictance from Pdado, Retiro park, shoppig awerywhere around, plenty all kind of eateries. We didn't use transport, everything was around. Friendly, professional staff. good breakfast ( was included). Hihgly recommend!
