Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach

A fabulous hotel, perfect for couples and families alike. Staff were really friendly and the premises were immaculate.

Our family of 5 loved this hotel! We stayed for 2 nights and found the buffets amazing, pools great and a super safe nieghbourhood! Very close to the beach

I recently stayed at port anlicante and was extremely disappointed with the condition of our room. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a strong musty smell, and after looking around, I found visible mould on the walls and ceiling.This was deeply concerning, especially as I was traveling with my baby. Mould poses serious health risks, particularly for infants, and staying in such an environment was completely unacceptable. When we reported the issue to the staff, they did respond and offered us a free meal as compensation. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not address the actual problem or the serious health concerns of staying in a mould-infested room. A hotel should prioritize cleanliness and guest well-being, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. If you are traveling with children or have any respiratory sensitivities, I strongly advise against booking this hotel unless they make significant improvements.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The staff are always so lovely and friendly. Very helpful too. Breakfast is plentiful and great choice of offerings. Ideal for location for walking to the beach.

Really stunning property a ten minute walk from The beach. Lovely location for both San Juan Playa beach and only 20 minutes into the city via tram or bus. Hotel was gorgeous and very clean and well maintained. Two stunning pools & some nice bars too with very reasonably priced drinks. Hotel staff were friendly. Overall a lovely stay, would definitely be back!

Paid for parking (€15 per day), but constantly had problems with the barrier getting in and out of the car park which was frustrating. There are 2 lifts in the hotel and both of them have a strange horrible smell. Good location and lovely staff

Very clean & comfortable Hotel, very friendly reception staff and easy check in, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the outside pool, the included brekfast selection was very good with hot and cold foods, absolutely would stay again

Well, absolutely lovely hotel located to north of Alicante City, near great beach and promenade. You can easily reach the hotel or city via the TRAM lines 4 and 5. As for the hotel, we choose half board and got to say be it Breakfast or Dinner food quality was excellent. Only let down at breakfast, was a hot water dispenser and mugs for a cup of tea :-) The queue for coffee machine was too long. Bedroom was well mainted, but I wish the pillow selection was better and spme UK english channels on TV would help. DO NOT forget to use the pool on roof and sit and take in the views!

Good modern, friendly and helpful staff. I hope they renovate the older side of the hotel to get it matching the new side! The dining was good, would be helpful to label the food ingredients and show if it’s suitable for vegetarians etc.. but staff in dining were helpful to explain options.

Hotel was situated in a quiet area but close enough to the beach,supermarket and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Buffet breakfast and evening meal . Breakfast was included and good value with something for everyone. Evening meal was €20 per person but again you could eat as much as you wanted . Note that they do charge for water in the evening. The pool area is lovely with good sunbeds. Used the sky bar too with a small pool on the roof and comfortable seating. I travelled with a friend so we had a twin room which was clean and comfortable with memory foam mattresses and walk in shower which was hit and powerful. Disappointed that we didn't get a balcony as the hotel wasn't full and it would have been a nice touch by the hotel to upgrade us. They offered but wanted €60 so we refused . Bar staff were fab. Would stay again

Very nice hotel, luxurious, new, great looking modern place and great breakfast. Pool areas looked great but it was too cold to test unfortunately. Rooftop bar looked really nice too. Room seemed to be on a childs sprint track even after 9pm. Avoid these ground floor rooms if you can, between the old and new buildings. 018

Lovely friendly staff. Especially at the restaurant bar. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great location for San Juan playa beach. Would recommend booking a room with a balcony.
