Away from it all, the best night sleep I had in years. Lovely rural and authentic Swedish private eco-hotel in the woods by the lakes, with a great history, the owners reinvented it with sustainability-focused ethos. You can hire a boat to enjoy fishing on the lakes, or go hiking along the Wilderness trail around the property in pine woods, which was magical.

Very comfortable hotel surrounded by nature. Room was clean with good light, with view on a lake. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and big. It was very quiet, can't remember when I slept so good. Breakfast offer was good, with locally grown foods - ham, sausages, eggs, honey... Service was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception is not working whole day, but there is phone number that you can call and reach somebody (there was also few phones at different locations at hotel and nearby buildings that could be used). Phone signal is not so good, there are some areas without reception. Internet in hotel is fast and reliable. Surrounding area is beautiful, close to hotel are few lakes and forest. It is possible to rent fishing equipment (pole, lures, boat with engine, permit etc) for very good price, very cheap. Basically for less than 20 euros you cold have fun for whole day. This is my new favorite in this area, worth visiting again. TL;DR: If you are staying in this area, this hotel is excellent choice.

Gemoedelijk, rustig en toch wat reuring door verschillende gasten, groepjes fietsers, groepen vrienden, familie feesten etc. Toen wij er waren was het redelijk rustig. Verder is het oer Zweeds, het hotel, de huisjes en schuren er omheen, de natuur met bossen en meren. Ontbijt met eigen produkten en zelf gebakken brood. Mogelijkheid om zelf te koken en bbqen. Genoeg zit gelegenheden zowel buiten als binnen. Supermarkt op rijafstand ongeveer 8 km. De beheerders zijn vriendelijke en hardwerkende mensen en doen alles om je bezoek zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Al met al het is er fantastisch. een echte aanrader.
