We stayed here as attending a friend's wedding and booked a triple room. What we got was a chalet with two separate bedrooms which was brilliant. Breakfast was in the castle cellar - plenty of choice and very nice quirky space. The food at the wedding was absolutely fantastic with great service. Grounds were lovely too with beautiful views over the lake and marina. Only thing I didn't like was being overcharged on checking out even though the reservation was printed on paper first but when queried (was SEK 2000 over) this was rectified

Stor besvikelse.
Hade sett fram enormt mycket att få åka och bo just på Sundbyholm.
Dåligt städat ( både dammråttor och tandkrämsrester kvar av tidigare gäster)
Frukosten i klass med budgethotell och som inte fylldes på löpande utan stod med tomma fat och man fick säga till.

Rum/stuga var så varm att det inte gick att sova där. Det var fullt på hotellets restaurang så vi fick gå iväg och äta middag på parkbänk då restaurang vid hamnen oxå fullbokad. Frukost var sparsam, för dom pengarna hade det vart trevligt med lite mer omsorg och tanke.

This hotel is combination of different kinds of accomodations. Breakfast and dinner are served in castle type building. Rooms have had their best times many years ago. I would not stay again. Restaurant should change the chef.

Trevligt ställe. Fantastisk omgivning och vackert slott där man åt. Frukost ok men inte mer. Lätt kaos på parkeringen närmast sviterna eftersom folk inte kan parkera när det är grusplan. Kunde fått plats 3 bilar till om folk hade parkerat med lagom avstånd till nästa bil istället för 1 meter emellan på varje sida om bilen. Nu fick inte alla plats.

Vackra omgivningar! Rent och snyggt! Vänligt bemötande. Dock något rörigt och inte helt lösningsfokuserat. Middag på slottet hålls stängt på söndagar mitt under högsäsong och det närliggande och mycket trevliga hamnkaféet stängde denna kväll kl. 21. Frukosten var bra på söndagen men på måndagen var faktiskt brödet lite gammalt liksom grönsakerna. Det kändes lite som om man plockat fram rester. Sammantaget så är Sundbyholms slott fint och har trevlig personal men någonstans infinner sig känslan att det ibland är svårt att fullt ut ”bära upp allt”.
