The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town and very short walk to the ski lift. The staff was nice and breakfast was pretty good. For the price it’s a nice hotel in a very expensive town.

Overall: 90% positive experience, would stay here again
The good:
The room was clean and the heated bathroom floor was quite nice after a cold day walking outside.
The views from this property are quite lovely.
The restaurant is very well appointed in traditional wooden architecture (if you like that, which we do).
Breakfast has a good, though not massive, selection.
The staff were quite pleasant.
The location is very central.
The less good:
We were kept up late at night due to partying that could be heard in the middle of town nearby.
The elevator is very very small.
The hotel was kind enough to give us a room with a kitchen (which we did not ask nor pay for) but then informed us of a 60 CHF surcharge PER DAY to use it. At that point it's cheaper to eat out, so why bother giving us a kitchen. It felt as though we were taunted, being given a fridge, plates and glasses that we could not use.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony, which had a beautiful view. The only thing that was difficult was the shower, which was in a very high step-up tub. Being older (and short) made me very worried about slipping.

Spacious renovated room. Great bathroom. Having restaurant downstairs was very convenient. You can walk from the train station but it’s all up hill so we caught a taxi to and from the hotel. Great staff. We would stay again and recommend this hotel.

It was our first time in St Moritz. The gentleman Nicola was ready at every turn to provide printed directions and wonderful suggestions in order that we discover St Moritz and not get lost. He is a wonderful ambassador for the Hotel. Bravo manager. First impressions are lasting 👍 Nicola, next time we will catch the sunset on the mountain. Thank you all !!

Cons: it’s quite a hike from the train station with it being all uphill but a taxi is only 20euro. Room was a bit too warm but the windows didn’t open

Perfect stay from the minute we were welcomed by the front desk to the clean and comfortable room with a beautiful balcony. The hotel's location is perfect for shopping, eating, and public transportation. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the hotel's restaurant and would highly recommend it.

Meals at La Stella we're very delicious. Francisca at the front desk was absolutely the best. She helped us navigate the town, and sent us to the best attractions. Views of St. Moritz from the top of the mountain we're stunning.

Close to the stores and to the train station. The only issue is the room has no air condition and we had to leave the window open to refresh the room. We could not sleep well because we could hear all the noise coming from outside

Very clean room, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pizza at the restaurant was excellent with a nice thin crust. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. I believe you could order eggs and I heard someone order pancakes so there are options besides the buffet.
Overall a very nice hotel and I would stay here again.
