Clean large rooms with excellent AC to escape the summer heat. Staff was kind and helpful. They allow you to store your luggage if the room isn’t ready. They have a small store downstairs and breakfast for a few. We would stay here again because it was excellent value and a short walk from bus stops.

We had a great stay at Ibis Styles Luzern. The location was excellent - quiet and peaceful, yet only a short walk from the Old Town, making it a great base for exploring Lucerne. Our family room was spacious and had plenty of room for all of us, making our stay very comfortable. We also felt it offered great value compared with some of the much more expensive hotels in the city, which suited us perfectly. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Lucerne.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful in every instance. Rooms were clean, breakfast was very good and the location was convenient for catching local buses.

Good location. Mass market accommodation. Buffet breakfast was decent but expect to see people doing things that make you not want to eat (touching the bread to cut it rather than using the cloth RIGHT there) Bed was not the most comfortable Foam topper makes metro warm. A/C vent blows right at the bed with no way to adjust direction. Inexpensive for Lucerne and you get what you pay for. Highlight was lobby staff member named Manuel who offered excellent suggestions.

We had a balcony room which had a reasonable view and gave some outdoor space. Everything was fine with the room. A little basic but everything which was needed. I feel the hotel could have been more helpful on check in. We arrived about 12 and left our bags and then came back just before 3. At 2:50pm apparently the room still wasn’t ready which was disappointing as they knew we were already in the town. We waited in the lobby and then after a number of other people had checked in asked again and it was ready. I was just surprised by the way this was handled.

Good location, walkable to everything we wanted to do in Luzern. Staff was not familiar with local festivals or boat timings. Room was basic to say the least. Cheap furniture. You will be paying for location and basically to sleep and park your bags in the day. Not the kind of place you would want to hang out at or relax.

The location is great, and staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. However the rooms are pretty simple, almost like a dorm room, and the bathrooms need some upgrades. Its just a place to rest your head. If you want a hotel room to relax in after a long day, this is not it.

This was the best bed I had in Switzerland or Italy. Another plus was the lovely, friendly front desk staff who let us check in an hour early and offered to upgrade our room on what seemed to be just an expansive mood. The AC was also good in the current heat wave and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Makes me think I should try more Ibis Style hotels.
