One of the best hotels I stayed at during my vacation. Great location with easy access to buses and trams. The room was clean and spacious, even with several large suitcases. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at The Flag during the summer and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is clean, my room was spacious, and the amenities were quite complete for a city hotel. There’s no AC, only a fan to help with the summer heat, but I actually appreciated this as a more environmentally friendly approach.
What made the stay truly memorable, however, was the kindness and patience of the staff, especially Maria. She helped me bravely remove a spider that somehow ended up in my room (possibly hitchhiked from my clothes after walking outside!). She spoke to me kindly and patiently, even though my English wasn’t very good, and she didn’t lose her calm even after I accidentally spilled Coca-Cola on the floor. … a lot happened during my stay, but Maria handled it all with grace and kindness. Thank you, Maria!
Another staff member, a cool guy, also kindly helped refill my water bottle. I forgot to ask his name, but I hope you meet him when you visit. When you do, say hi to him :)

Breakfast buffet is solid, especially once you figure out you can ask for scrambled eggs. It is very convenient to several different public transportation options and a quick walk to a major mall with a huge grocery store. A quiet neighborhood but easy to get to the downtown area for food and sightseeing.

I really love THE FLAG hotel Zürich. It’s an amazing place to stay whenever I’m back in Switzerland. I will definitely be staying back there again. The staff is very helpful. The homes are nice and clean and everything is with them walking distance. The tram is two minute walk away I mean, you can’t beat it. It’s the best😀

Location was very convenient. The ice cream in the afternoons was a very welcome treat.
The only negative was the smell of marijuana that we would get because we needed to leave our windows open to keep the room cooler.

The room is clean, neat, and large. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that the room had no air circulation. There was a stand-up fan, but I had to open the window and turn on the fan to get air circulating. I sweated at night, and with the window open, the trucks outside right below our room were very noisy in the morning.
