Alishan Tea Garden

I arrived late and left early, didn’t have much time to explore the area. The breakfast was Western style, not Asian style local food. Only thing I found its odd is the towels are poor condition for this excellent property

Really nice quaint quiet place to stay - we didn’t drive so relied on limited transport services (which ran on time) so had to plan around these times. Understandably being on a mountain, dining options are fairly limited. Very friendly and helpful staff! Overall recommend for a good relaxing getaway from your everyday life!

Favorite Bed and Breakfast in Alishan - we are living among the clouds - such a joy. The breakfast balcony is so beautiful and the staff are so kind. Highly recommend to all going to Alishan

Beautiful scenery, comfortable room. But would be nice to have different breakfast options when staying for more than one night

Beautiful property located 1.5 hr from the Alishan Forest Recreational area. However it is fairly close to Eryanping Trail which is one of the best places to see the sunset. The hosts are very kind and accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean and breakfast and dinner (hotpot) were both delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try

The room we stayed at was very clean and cozy. Staff are very nice. The breakfast was delicious.

Don’t go in June, rained almost entire time we were there. Very very limited dining options. Breakfast was average or lower. Chicken every day. Hashbrowns were soggy. The common spaces are nice

The view alone is worth 5 stars but the quality of the care from staff, the cleanliness of the space, and the peace of the area are all superb. We will come back again. We loved it and are leaving well rested.

Quiet

We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend.

This homestay offers panoramic view of the mountains. The staff informed us the place and time to catch sunrise which is so convenient! They also offer excellent breakfast and the whole place is so tranquil! Definitely recommend this place for those who love sunrise & mountain view except that it is abit inconvenient since it is on top of the mountain.

Staffs are dedicated and friendly, owner shows his personal leadership in guiding each single occasion, including bus directions, dining arrangements, and ride sharing services.

The property was well kept and picturesque. Service was excellent - staff recommended location to watch sunset and provided detailed guide to reach destination and back. Breakfast was delicious too!

Memorable. Picturesque. Breakfast is prepared fresh, simple and good. Check their website for dinner options - it is not easy to get into town to eat. Had dinner prepared by the hotel on the 2nd night and while it was 'western' it was delicious. English limited, wife speaks mandarin so relied on her (it was easier to do so). Can get by with English, they do try. Highly recommended. 3 minute walk to watch the sunrise.

Wonderful minsu, it is well maintained and the view is exceptional, we saw the sunrise within 3 min walk and the owner bring us to eryan ting to see the sunset, gorgeous, better than the view we had up in Alisan zhusan. Owner is really friendly and pick us up and sent us to bus station. It is the perfect stay.

Very good and peaceful place. The hosts are very nice, and helpful. The hotel is located 1hr away Alishan main station. The room is nice and clean, same for the bathroom. Just the food was not that good. I totally recommend this place.
