Cho Hotel

It is a very stylish retro hotel decorated like the old days. The staff are very friendly. I loved the 2nd floor lounge, which offered free cup noodles, snacks, drinks, Coke, a TV, and spacious areas to hang around and chat with other guests. The rooms are generally small. typical Ximending style. Our room, intended for three people, could barely fit 3 full-size suitcases, though the wall decoration is very cool. The location is perfect. It is very close to the Ximending walking areas and near the Red House, but not directly inside, so it avoids excessive noise or crowds. I will definitely return because of the design, decoration, and most importantly, the nice staff. Next time if it is just two of us, we will book the 3-person room for the extra space.

Everything about the hotel was amazing. If I had to find something wrong I would say the rooms are on the small side compared to North American standards, but nothing we didn't live with for 10 days.

I found the hotel an excellent place to stay. Definitely would stay here again. The amenities were a welcome. Suggestions would be to list what and where certain amenities are, for example, laundry. Which is located on the first floor along with laundry baskets. A lot of information is available in the lounge/snack area on the second floor but a copy in each room would be welcomed. My only complaints would be the stepping in and out of the bathroom, the ledge could be marked better. Also, the rooms are not soundproof, which would have been okay, except the floor that I was on, eventually has a family or two, with kids running and screaming in the hall ways. During the day, it wasn’t such a bother but at 3am it got really annoying. Especially when it was happening every morning.

Staffs are very helpful and courteous. Laundry room has 3 wash machines and dryers that is a good amenity to have.

My stay at Cho Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were kind and understanding and the room was everything I needed with no excess I especially appreciated the common room stocked with snacks and drinks! I would definitely stay again!

Friendly staff, great location.

Room was clean but tiny. Mattress was soft. The air conditioner was so noisy that I had to turn off to reduce the noise. There was also a regular crack noise every 15 minutes.

Very convenient location.

Great for a solo traveler! Great location to public transit and many many restaurants and shopping around the area. The free snack floor and free laundry was a nice surprise!

The staffs were super friendly and helpful. The room was great as well just that not much of clothes hanging space. The snack bar full of choices for instant noodles and biscuits. The drinks fridge has lot of choices too including bottle mineral water and sandwiches as well. They even gave a puzzle piece for you to draw and paste on the wall however we were sad as ours dropped and went missing after 2days. They also gave me a birthday card and gifts too.

My stay at Cho Hotel was a great experience. It was near the MRT station so I could easily travel around Taipei. It was near the walking area with bustling shops, food, and hidden places to get ink stamps in your notebook/journal for your travels. The 24/7 access to snacks and drinks were a great help to having quick access to free water and other things. My friend had commented why they hadn't booked at Cho Hotel instead of their accommodation.

The hotel was amazing and the staff were a credit to the company! Amazing customer service and today, when I was checking out offered me a gift to take home which truly made me appreciate the hospitality of the Taiwanese ❤️ I will stay again and highly recommend this place to any traveler!
