The location is excellent, right in front of Kaohsiung Main Station. There is a 7-Eleven next door, which is very convenient. The staff are efficient and accommodating. Breakfast is buffet-style, sumptuous, and offers both local and Western choices.

Great location right by the main station. Easy access to major subways and train lines. Huge room with king size bed. Able to do same day laundry service. Even though the main station is under construction we could not hear any noise from it. Quiet and spacious. Lovely stay overall!

Great value and location near the train station. The staff was lovely and very helpful. WiFi was fast and the beds soft and comfy. Breakfast was a bit boring. No omelette or egg station but enough to start the day. The rooms are clean and quiet. Great hotel for its age and again the staff was so kind and helpful.

Best staffs and warm service. The train station is just across the street. However, it is a little bit far from down town. Over all, I will stay in this hotel again.

I was concerned as a reviewer commented on the room not matching the pictures, which I find true so far in the Asian countries I’ve been to and feared this would be the same. While the room did not match the picture, it wasn’t a bad room and overall I had a good experience with this hotel. It was spacious and clean. I would book at this location again, hopefully with the same experience.

Hotel rooms need renovation really bad. It felt like the rooms had not been updated for about 60 years. There were scratches, stains, dents, etc. everywhere. The room had unpleasant moldy smell from the carpet and possibly from the ancient AC system too. The positives about this hotel were excellent breakfast with a lot of food options and friendly staff.

The hotel is located just opposite Kaohsiung Railway / Metro station which is a good location to travel around. However the interior and furnitures are very old and not well maintained; bed were uncomfortable as you can feel the spring underneath; bath towels looked yellowish; breakfast varieties were limited. Counter staff were friendly.

The hotel is not the problem. It is good for all aspect. The issue is the area that is a bit old and not catching up with time. There are no good restaurants, no coffee shops like Star Bucks within 5 blocks area. The area was developed probably in the 70s and remain unchanged.

There no socket by the bed. Not convenient. The breakfast is so so. Wonderful staff! And I love that you don't need to use the key card for the elevator. But why do they have to stick to 3pm check in time.

This is an older hotel with key door and that should tell you a lot about this hotel. It reminded me when I was a kid and my parents booked an hotel to stay for a trip. Couldn't compared to new build hotel with card key to enter your room. Air condition is very weak and not strong at all. Over all the this hotel really needs a update and kind of scary at night time if you are alone.

Hotel is old, but clean. Location is right opposite the Kaohsiung station. Really convenient to get around. There is a DIY laundry just outside the hotel. However iron needs to be loaned with a TWD200 deposit, a little annoying.
