The proprietor was so hospitable! When we arrived he gave us grapes from the garden. The breakfasts were outstanding with trad Taiwanese food. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms where clean and spacious...perfect for a visit to historic Lukang.

The Lukang B&B was the highlight of our visit to this part of Taiwan. It's location is excellent - in close proximity to the Bus Station, a vibrant food market nearby and within easy reach of the town's historic features.
On arrival we received tea and our host provided us with the most thorough briefing about all of the local features, including detailed maps.
The Chinese-style breakfast we requested was delicious and generous, featuring plenty of fresh fruit and excellent coffee. There are even 3 lovely resident dogs (who love to fetch the tennis ball should you feel inclined) that add to the warm and relaxed character of the place.
Very happy to report that we received nothing but genuine helpfulness at this place, with local transport arrangements made for us, no hesitation in storing our luggage after our check-out, even offering to drive us the short distance back to the Bus Station for our departure.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when next in Lukang.

People are very nice. The lady welcomed us with a glass of lemon tea and showed us on a map all the things you could see in Lukan. Breakfast was plentiful but extremely traditional to the area so it might be difficult to enjoy or eat for people not used to this type of food. Overall though this hotel is not worth the price. Facilities are borderline okay but there are a lot of areas that are cluttered or even dirty. Noise from the street until late evening and starts early morning. Noise from the other rooms too. The 3 large dogs are friendly but might be a bit much for people not used to having dogs around, especially at breakfast time :)

Stayed here one night. Room is basic with confortable bed and clean bath room. No table or luggage rack so had to put everything on the floor. Breakfast adequate. Walking 20 minutes to famous temple and small alleys. Friendly hostess and two golden retrievers. Dropped us off at bus station to take bus to ChungHwa train station. It costed 350 NT to take cab from ChungHwa bus station to B & B.

Very well located familyrun hotel with the owner taking very good care of her guests. Especially the rear facing rooms are well appointed, very spacious and comfortable (front facing rooms are on the roadside so tend to be noisy). Very personalised service with time being taken to explain where all the sights are in relation to the hotel and restaurant recommendations. In our case not only did the owner pre-order the courses for a birthday lunch, she made it extra memorable by arranging a birthday cake to be offered at the end. Great enjoyable stay!

The owner is terrific - provides detailed sightseeing and eating information. The property is well located and within walking distance to everything. We had an issue getting the AC in the room to work properly - unfortunately during a heat wave - but for those who read that it's not really possible to stay in Lugang, I would say they are wrong and this B&B is a great option.

when we reached, owner gave a us a very detailed guide on how to tour lukang. It was very informative and helpful.
Has two golden retriever. How awesome is that?
have to walk quite a distance to main attractions. probably a good 15 to 20 mins.
