Very nice location just into city centre. Walkable to restaurants, night markets and shops. Supervised underground parking. Nice big room with nice bed. Bathroom with nice toiletries suitable to the hardness/softness of the water. Nice touch with working fridge and drinks, and daily Happy Hour in the Lobby bar with free canned drinks and snacks. Very convenient to Expressway system. An excellent hotel overall.

Very welcoming feeling, staffs are very helpful and friendly, room is clean and comfortable, eco friendly. We will definitely stay in this hotel again on our next visit.

I had 2 separate stays at Maison de Chine, one night first, then I left for a night to visit Alishan and came back for one more night at this hotel.
The first night, they gave me a room on the 5th floor, it was one of the old rooms, which has not been renovated in many years. It felt too humid and the old carpet wasn't pleasant. Not at all what I would expect from a 4-star hotel.
For my second stay, I got a room on a higher floor that was recently renovated, and it was so much better.
Otherwise, the hotel is conveniently located near the night market and train station. They graciously held my luggage for a day while I was visiting Alishan.

I always stay in this hotel when I came to chiayi. During our stay I didn’t think they cleaned the room at all besides just changed the towels. The room was dusty. We were disappointed!!

The staffs were super friendly and will help whenever. The location is pretty good too considering if you want to explore places like hinoki village, night market or even a mall. However, i feel the breakfast could be improved by introducing continental food
