Extremely conveniently located. 10 minutes walking distance from the TaoYuan Airport MRT extress train station. Many breakfast spots around the hotel. The room is spacy. The bath facility looks a bit old, but has no problem for use. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient. Overall, I'd say good value for the price.

Very very friendly male receptionist who was on late evening duty on the 16/12/17. An old Hotel. Basic needs were provided. Preferably the gym should start opening at 6am onwards or 24/7 operating hours.

Terrible. Don't stay here. Picture are deceiving. Not up to date.
Hotel had no heat from the central heating. Asked for a heater. Staff told us to sleep with more clothing. Offer us more blankets. No heat is normal in Taipei was his answer. Asked for a portable heater at the very least. Nothing. Not even offered to change to a different toom.
Told me to deal with Expedia for a refund. Of course they are deying it. Thieves at this hotel.
Booked an new hotel and left immediately that had heat.

Stayed one night and extended for another night.
First night room assigned was smelly and old, but I booked online the second night which was cheaper and different type of room(run of house - whatever it is), so I had to move to the new room or pay up to stay in original room.
Opted to move but was told I can get the key only after 3pm(bummer). Turned out the cheaper room was way better, non-smelly and had normal view. Overall the property is really old, some rooms still have a physical keys, some with keycards.
Stuff are friendly, even helped me to retrieve my charger that I left in the old room, thanks

The actual environment differs a lot from the pictures shown. The room was old and unhygienic. There was an unpleasant smell when we stepped into the room. The staff serving at midnight was unkind. He wasn’t willing to bring us a hair dryer which it was supposed to be in our room but that wasn’t available. This is not recommended when there is a wide variety of choices to stay.

The hotel location is convenient.
[Taipei hotel zoo] is the English name. Even the taxi driver doesn’t know where it is. If in the commercial putting a photo of the hotel sign will help the business.

Your hotels.com room’s photo doesn’t match with the real room situation. The photo and description showed that the room with two double beds (combined in one bed) instead of Single double bed.
The hotel Staff told me that they received the similar complains from other customers.
But they told me that the hotel only has partnership with Expedia and don’t have partnership with hotels.com .
That’s why they had nothing to do about it.

air conditioner drips all night and even we put towels under the air con, staff did nothing to the air con, just removing the towel every day. Musky smell in room and hallway like stinky feet. Location is great though, close to Ximen and Taipei Main Station, lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Must confirm room before you will stay here, it is not match with your reservation. The hotel staff did not professional to solve the problem. Hardly to contact with authorized person to manage the problem. Breakfast should be adjusted. The door in the bathroom is not work.

1. Hotel name was different as per expedia.
2. Door had to be ply open with brute force as the door spring was very rigid.
3. Poor sound insulation from other rooms or corridor noises.
4. Bathroom door could not be closed.
