The only thing that not making 5* is just the room pretty small (I guess it’s the norm for busy tourist area, a short distance to Ximending Night Market). Staffs were friendly and helpful. Even the room was small, the restroom was in decent size.

It's definitely a no frills, basic hotel and very dated, needs updating and better ventilation but at least no cockroaches. We stayed here for 2 nights in January with our 5 and 8 year old in the room with the two double beds. The best thing about this hotel is location hands down - walkable to Ximen Station, lots of delicious eats, and the 24 hour Donki is only 5 mins away if you need anything or want to buy gifts.

Great location. Very close to multiple dining options and the Ximen Night market. The staff was kind, friendly, and accommodating. They have complimentary umbrellas to borrow for rainy days and we’re very helpful. Quiet area; great location.

Hands down the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. Extremely strong/unhealthy mold infestation. Pictures falsely advertise windows in the rooms. Don't expect helpful service including no help with tourism suggestions and I was told to figure out for myself how to do laundry. Absolutely terrible.

Excellent location in terms of convenience, but the room was not modern or well lit like in the picture. I booked the room specifically to have a window to get over jet lag, but although there was a window there was NO natural light shining through it. It was a window to a dark crevice between two buildings. Although the room in the picture is white and bright, mine was old, green and dark. The staff however were friendly and fluent in english including the cleaning staff.
