I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service.
During my stay, I had a bit of a scare when I realized I had lost my iPad. I retraced my steps, but it seemed to have vanished. I approached the front desk, and the staff sprang into action. They were incredibly helpful and understanding, taking the time to listen to my situation and assuring me they would do everything possible to assist.
Within a short time, they contacted the housekeeping team and began searching the areas I had visited. To my relief, they found my iPad in the lobby! The staff's dedication and efficiency were remarkable, turning a stressful situation into a positive experience. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is truly commendable.
The hotel itself boasts luxurious rooms, fantastic amenities, and a convenient location near shopping and dining options. I enjoyed every moment of my stay, thanks in large part to the outstanding service I received.

I always stay at Centara Hotel for convenience, the breakfast buffet is always good, and the staff are nice. Conveniently located beside Central Mall, for easy browsing at the shops. Many choices of restaurants at Central Mall, and easy walk to the MRT station.

When we 1st enter the room it wasn't clean well, the cleaners left dirty towels in the bathroom area and the floor still dirty. The room's carpet worn out real bad between the bed and bathroom wall. The ceiling has many cut patches left unfinished.
Other than that everything was perfect from service to hotel staffs.

We have stayed at Centara 4 times, usually with 2 or 3 rooms. The hotel has a beautiful foyer, lobby and bar. The location is excellent with easy access to Central shopping Centre and BTS.
All the staff are fantastic, helpful and earn respect.
The reason for this rating is because we had a problem with electrical control panel next to the bed. On the first evening the power cut out for a few minutes before it reset itself and then we would need to manually reset the A/C temperature, fan speed and all the lights. After this happened a few times we called reception and they sent an engineer to investigate. He replaced the control panel 2 times but unfortunately this didn’t fix the problem. While having a shower the power went out and it was totally dark in the bathroom. The same problem happened 6 or 7 times during the night. This would wake you up every time because one foyer light would come on, the phones would beep when charging starts, also a beep above the ceiling in the foyer and the A/C temperature would default to 26 degrees and low fan. One of the other rooms we booked also had a similar problem but only happened 2 times on the first night.
We explained everything to reception in the morning so that the problem could be rectified during the day while we were out. When we returned later that evening the problem seemed to be fixed, however from around midnight till 8 am the same problem happened maybe 10-12 times, sometimes 10 or fifteen minutes apart.

I think the shower area water was not able to flow through and left a puddle of water even next day making it feel like the shower area is flooded
