Good hotel for family vacation

Great place for families

Stayed here for 3 nights during our HuaHin holiday. We like the hotel and the family room we stayed at was great. We also liked going to the warter park everyday during our stay. Breakfast selection was good too. However the hotel is quite far from any shopping or restaurants and you'll need to take a taxi everywhere. The only walkable location from the hotel is probably the night market opposite the main road.

Breakfast and Dinner buffet was excellent. Wide variety of Thai and western cuisines.

Beautiful hotel with a massive breakfast. Access to both the rooftop pool and a water park many good slides for all ages.

The hotel is great for families with children. I would not recommend it for couples looking for a luxurious stay with oriented comfort in mind.

Arrive to convenient to curbside luggage drop off w/ free entry to fun-for-all-ages water park steps away to relax and enjoy while you wait for room check in (so, have your swimwear readily available to change into at hotel entry restroom. Towels & lockers provided by water park). Electronic wrist bands work as room key,/payment method linked to room # for all hotel restaurants, snack stations and water park eateries (after room assignment). Upon checkin ( quick and easy), complimentary tokens are given for use at water park eateries or hotel game room. Children eat free from children's menu at all hotel restaurants. An extensive free hot breakfast buffet w/ Asian & western dishes served daily with plenty of child friendly foods & options for those w/ food allergies. A free air conditioned shuttle is available to/from shopping, Thai restaurants, night market & beach ( 5 minute walk to beach from drop off point). GREAT free child care center w/ extensive activities & caring attendants is provided on floor 5. The extensive infinity pool w/ incredible view and swim up bar along w/ kiddie pool offer a serene, refreshing swim option w/out the sand of the beach or crowds of the water park. Our immaculate family suite was SO child friendly w/ an adorable child tent and bunk beds our 4 year old LOVED. A friendly, helpful, attentive multi lingual staff worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was memorable & carefree. This 5* hotel will be our pick on all future visits!

An enjoyable stay, helped by delightful hotel staff. A comfortable room, great breakfast and most importantly nice people. We are an older couple and enjoy walking and quieter places, so I made a bit of a mistake when booking this hotel, it is, of course a ‘water resort, lots of fun for families and particularly children, somehow I missed that when booking. I’m sure it’s terrific for young families, but not what we were looking for. My mistake entirely. The ocean isn’t too far away but there is a railway running between the hotel and the coast and walking access is not easy. We finally found a route across the tracks under a fly-over, about a kilometre away, (fine if you’re fit). The hotel runs a shuttle bus into town, it was on-time and worked well for us but we didn’t find Hua Hin at all interesting.

Staff is very friendly and nice! This was my second time being here and it is always a pleasure! Many options when it comes to breakfast.

I've always wanted to visit due to its closeness to water park, which is an important entertainment for my kid. But I didn't expect the water park to be so close, literally a few steps from the ground floor of hotel. The most amazing feature is the wristband they gave us at check in, that could be used for room key, to enter water park, for water park locker, to pay for F&B etc. This is a game changer to free us from worry about belonging and could fully enjoy. The hotel itself also provides sufficient entertainment. From rooftop infinity pool to sky deck where you can walk on glass, kid room, game room, very nice and good selection breakfast buffet. We booked the basic room but still have sofa, table, even a spacious balcony with nice big chairs to relax on overlooking the spacious Hua Hin landscape. Plenty of storage with long counter in living area and bathroom. Japanese restaurant at water park parking lot was surprisingly delicious with wide variety of menu, and offered many different promotion including discount for hotel guests. Water park is well designed with all sorts of big and small slides, lazy river, wave pool etc that is fun for whole family and also compact enough to get around. All in all, so many delightful surprises that if I've known earlier, I'd have come visited way earlier. Definitely coming back with family. If they can add camera to the wristband, then I won't even have to bring my phone to water park! If have convenient store even better.

Strongly recommend for travelling with kids. Massage is way cheaper than other hotels, breakfast and dining are doing good as well.

Really good for family but when it's busy you will need to do a lot of waiting for elevators

There was the construction going on, It was loud. I asked if I could move farther or get a refund to move to the other hotel. The guy wouldn’t care. Then the manager called me back that I could move the next day. The room that I moved to the toilet water leaked, all my stuff on the floor was wet. I called to ask for 2 plastic bags to put the wet clothes in, the employee said they could give me only one laundry bag. The water park opens late and close early as 11-5

Lost 500 usd and 7000 baht from my room, to be specific my wallet which was in the backpack. At 9am a cleaning lady knocked on the door saying she needs to clean the room which is unusually early for hotel cleaning services. Not to mention pretty shady. I was a bit surprised at the time and told her to come later. I’m assuming she definitely came back later to “clean” when I went to breakfast. The reason I did not put my belongings in the security safe is that it kept saying “battery low”. I reported the incident immediately when I found out that the money was missing, emailed the management but guess what? No response whatsoever. Not even a sorry. And the safe is still beeping “battery low” because no one came to change the battery. They can’t even keep a safe operational. Staff with horrible attitude. Avoid this place at all costs for your safety and sanity! Incompetent on every level.

Overall presentation of Holiday Inn is great. Staff and workers are very welcoming.

Very appreciated water park for children. Quiet area, transportation required. Recommend this place for families with children.
