I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan. The hotel offers excellent value with its clean, well-designed rooms and very comfortable beds. This was our first stay at this hotel, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s within walking distance of the train station, as well as many bars and restaurants. They even offered a tuk-tuk service to and from the station when needed. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room included a mini fridge and a smart TV to play our music. The pool was nice, with great views of the city. I’d definitely come back!

The room was clean. I wish the restaurant staff was a bit more informed, they didn't know if the food was halal or not. It took them twenty minutes to find out. The food is also awful, I wouldn't recommend having your lunch or dinner there, same goes for the room service. Comparatively, Thai food is a lot better than Western food. They broke my Suitecase in the Storage, when I was one week in Koh Samui After I came back to the Hotel my suitecase was broken. They told me that they wont pay for it and cant Tell if it was my fault ore the Hotel staff although I had pictures before I left where it was not broken and After I came when it was broken. Terrible guest Service ! Breaking someones Luggage and then not taking the responsibillite unbelivable.
